Adoption Makes Me Smile

You know how much kitty adoption means to me! After all, not only was I rescued and adopted, so were my three sisters Sascha, Gracie & Zoe. It always makes my whiskers smile when I hear of adoption stories. Mom told me a very nice adoption story just the other day.

Adoption makes me smile

Mom went to visit this furniture store the other day because she was just kind of browsing around for a new chair for us to lay in. Well, at least I think that is why she was looking around. Anyways, she went to this furniture store called Uncle Jake’s. I don’t really think he is Mom’s Uncle, I think that was just the name of the store. When Mom went into the store she was greeted by an orange Tabby Cat. Yep, a furniture store Tabby. Uncle Jake told Mom that the orange Tabby was all alone and needed some place to live so the Tabby now lives full time at the furniture store. Then, here came another cat, this time is was a big black one. Uncle Jake told Mom that it is really shy and never comes to visit anyone. It must have known that Mom loves all cats. It sure is wonderful that these two kitties have a home with Uncle Jake and Mom said he sure does take really good care of them. Makes me smile for sure. Remember everyone, adopt cats, we deserve it! Purrrr! Zip! Later!

That is a wonderful story, indeed! So heartwarming. Every kitty deserves to be loved.

Our vet adopted a kitty who lives in the office and he always greets everyone as they come in. He only has one eye, but he's still very handsome.

By the way, I will schedule your LOLSpot feature for Monday because there are more bloggers around during the week to see it. Thanks for letting us "invade" your blog. I'm looking forward to getting to know your kitties better. That's one of the best parts of this process!

What a nice story! And thank you so much for stopping by our blog – we're very happy to meet you and your sisfurs. You look so much like one of the cats that came before us – his name was Henry and he was one of the best cats ever. Plus our human dad's name is Brian, so of course, we like your name! Purrs from Franklin, Dobby, and Tasha P.S. We are sorry to hear that Gracie has asthma too, but it sounds like she is doing really well – our mom hopes she can reduce Franklin's medication… Read more »

What a great story! I wish there was a store like that around here…I would make Jen buy all the furniture from there! Those furniture store kitties should start a blog!

Awww, that's such a great story. We took our Bugsy to the cancer vet on Tuesday and as soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted by two cats roaming in the waiting area. Come to find out, they have 4 "clinic cats" that have the run of the place. Gotta love a vet that has their own cat staff…

And it must tell that store owner a lot about his customers, those that will and won't complain about pre-cat-haired furniture. MOL

Purrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew
