OK, I’m in trouble with Sister Gracie. She found out that she was the only one that hasn’t had her turn posting something on my blog. I told her I always save the best for last, that was pretty quick thinking on my part huh? Anyways, here is Sister Gracie…

Sister Gracie Tells Her Story
Hello everybody, I feel like you already know me, but I haven’t had my turn yet, so I thought I would tell you my side of my story…especially since I’m not real sure what my Brother Brian might have told you about me.
I’m not sure where to start, but the nice ladies at Kitten Action Team rescued me too. I was being attacked by a dog (sorry woofie friends, I don’t take it personally) and this nice human lady came to my rescue. I was hurt pretty good on the lower part of my back and really, I just remember that it sure did hurt. Anyways, the nice human ladies took me to the kitty doctor and got me all fixed up. Then I ended up in the KAT adoption center in PetSmart. This nice human lady with the name of Ann was my foster Mom and I lived with her on and off for a while when I wasn’t a PetSmart looking for a home.
Then my forever Mom came to PetSmart to look at the kitties because Mom & Dad were looking to expand the family. Mom spotted me right off, but she said that she would have to send Dad to check me out. Sure enough, here came my forever Dad to get me and he took me and my new Sister Zoe to our forever home. I sure was excited, a real home, forever!!!
I hadn’t been there all too long when Mom & Dad discovered that I had a bad coughing problem. They took me to the vet doctor right away and found out that I had asthma. Yep, don’t know what it is fur sure, but it really isn’t fun. I got two kind of pills to take and that wasn’t fun either, but Mom & Dad made sure that I got them right on schedule. That one pill sure made me hungry and I ate and ate and ate. Yep, put on some pounds too. Unfortunately I just haven’t been able to get rid of that extra weight yet, but I know I should try to exercise more or something. Anyways, after a period of time I don’t have to take that pill that makes me hungry anymore but I’m down to 1/2 of another pill every 4 or 5 days, and it helps me with my breathing problem. Thanks Mom & Dad for paying close attention to my health, I really do appreciate it.
I really do love my forever home, and my Brother Brian is the greatest brother ever. And I know you’ve met my other Sisters Sascha and Zoe. They are so cool and I love them both too. I really do love to play and run and romp with my brother and sisters. I love to lay and look out the window with them too, but I can’t get too much window whiffin time during the time when there is lots of pollen outside because it hurts my breathing and gets me coughing some. Oh yea, I really need to thank my Brother Brian for having a blog and sharing it with all of us so we could say hello. And I TOTALLY agree with my brother, adopt cats, we deserve it! Bro say Purrrr! Zip! Later!
Hi Gracie, We are sorry you were attacked by a dog. That must have been very scary. We has some mean dogs that roam our neighborhood so we understands. Even though Fenris is a very nice doggie we don't trust him 100% yet. It was nice to meet you. We are glad your asthma is getting treated and you are doing so well. Asthma is no FUN, Mommy had some episodes awhile back and Socks has some experience with constricted air ways. ~S,S,C & F
It's nice that you finally got to post, Gracie! We're glad that you found a great furever home with Brian and everybuddy else. We hope your asthma is under control and maybe you should chase those other cats around for a little exercise!
You are such a lucky girl Gracie! Don't worry about the extra weight — you look great!
So great to learn about your Gotcha story. We are so glad you were gotcha'd by such a wonderful family.
Our Maya also has asthma, he has to take a pill too, but not very often, thank goodness!
Thanks for sharing your gotcha story with us. We're sorry you were hurt by a woofie, but we know that all woofies are not bad.

P.S. Pleeeease don't give my mom any more ideas though of adopting more kitties, ok? I'm just saying….
Gracie, it is so nice to hear your story. I'm glad you found such a happy home.
Nice to meet you, Gracie, and hear your story. We're sorry about the mean ol' woofie hurting you and also that you have that asthma thing; it doesn't sound fun. 🙁 It's great that your beans take care of you so well though!
Purrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew
Dear Gracie,
What a story! What a kittenhood you have had! I really feel lucky. I was never abandonned. Your forever Mom and Dad saved your live. What nice humans they must be.
You seem to be doing well now, you look very pretty.
Stop by some time and visit me and my mom Cajsa Cat and my adopted brother Calle Cat (who was rescued).
Soft paw, purrs and nose taps,
Sara Cat
Hi Gracie!
Its so nice to hear from you, we loved your story. Your forever parents sure take good care of you, dont they? Humans can be so awesome sometimes, right?
Its so nice to hear from you, we hope you post more often Gracie!
Purrs,
Theodore and Sasha
Don't let them put you on a diet! You're just like me, we're just extra floofy.
Heesh
Oh, how we love stories with a happy ending. The asthma doesn't sound like much fun though. It's difficult for the humans to find out what's the best medication we guess. Do you know Franklin from Mishkat? He just got diagnosed with asthma. Maybe you would be interested in exchanging tips…
Purrs!
Ciao!
I saw your link at Confiusus and clicked right over. Great blog you have! I could not agree more with your logo, as I am a rescue cat myself (and very proud of it) and live together with 3 other rescue cats and 2 rescue dogs, and 2 minipigs (not rescue actually, but quit cool anyway) and 8 hens and 2 roosters.
What can I say, I love my new life, and beeing a streetkiten, well it just wasn't for me..
Keep up the good work! Pleaaaase!!
