Sister Zoe Speaks Up

11 Comments on Sister Zoe Speaks Up

Hello everyone, my name is Zoe, and I insisted that I have my turn with this bloggie thing, especially since my Brother Brian was nice enough to let Sister Sascha have a turn last week. I don’t know if Brother Brian realizes it, but he may have started something here. Anyways, I just wanted a chance to tell you about me.

Getting to know Sister Zoe

I was adopted from PetSmart at the same time as Sister Gracie. I really don’t remember much before getting to PetSmart, but I do sort of remember that the nice ladies at Kitten Action Team (KAT) rescued me too. Mom actually came to PetSmart one day and that is when she ran into Sister Gracie. Well, I took a chance and smiled really big and put my plume tail straight up in the air. Mom noticed me, but I thought she was more focused on Sister Gracie. Then this man human showed up several days later to adopt Sister Gracie. How sad, I struck out again. Wrong, he picked me up and held me, I purred and he told the nice KAT lady that he was going to adopt both of us. JACKPOT.

Off I went with Sister Gracie to our new forever home. Wow, I had a big brother and another sister already there waiting for us. My big Brother Brian was so nice right off the bat, and so was my big fluffy sister. Anyways, we had to go through some sort of trial period where Sister Gracie and I each had our own separate room and we got to visit with our new family cats on some sort of schedule. Then, after a couple of days the doors came open and we got to venture out and explore our new home. Brother Brian is so cool, and he likes to run and romp and play with me. My big Sister Sascha likes to give me the hiss-blow routine and she likes to run just so I can chase her, although she doesn’t seem like she is having a whole lot of fun when I chase her. That’s OK, I’ve tried to learn how to not chase her, but darn it, she keeps running so what am I supposed to do? I must say that Sister Gracie loves to run and play other games with me though, so I suppose two outta three ain’t too bad. I love to sit in the bedroom widow with Brother Brian and watch the chipmunks, squirrels and birds and I love to lay on my Mom and fluff her up just right. And if I don’t get my way, I grumble, yep, grumble. Mom says she has never heard a cat make such a noise. I don’t know, it seems normal to me. I am very lucky to have found such a wonderful home and my brother and sisters are a very important part of my life…and so are Mom & Dad. That’s my story, and Brother Brian says to remember to adopt cats, we deserve it! Purrrr! Zip! Later!

I dopted mine Mom at a PetSmart, too! Yur sisfur Sascha sounds a lot like my sisfur Bonnie who wented to da Bridge. She'd run frum me an hiss or growl ofur her shoulders at me, so I'd chase her. If she really didn't like it, how come she didn't just hide? A few times, I gotted her to chase me.

Oh that was so nice of Brian to let you use his blog to introduce yourself to us – he is a good brother! I hope that we hear more from you girls in the future (but we do still love to hear from Brian too – make sure he knows that we aren't picking favorites).
