US and Coalition Fatalities in Iraq = 4670 (source: icausualties.org)
US and Coalition Fatalities in Afghanistan = 1492 (source: icasualties.org)
According to the website Iraqbodycount.com, 92,392 to 100,867 Iraqis have died since 2003 under Operation Iraqi Freedom. Some 10,557 Afghanis have also been killed during Operation Enduring Freedom.
Confucius Cat says there can be no true peace obtained from war. Bring our brave sons and daughters home now.

The appointed time for Week 21 is Sunday, November 1, 2009. Participants should purr for three minutes commencing at 3:00 p.m.. EDT (U.S.) which is 8:00 p.m. (20:00 hrs.) BST in the U.K. The cat’s human staff should assist their cats with the project by stroking and nuzzling the cat at the appointed time.
Purring for peace is a wonderful thing.
