My, oh my, we have three kitties here who have never experienced Christmas before and I think they are going to really enjoy it too. Anyways, this weekend we did something pretty exciting for the new ones, well okay, it is still exciting for me too…we put up the Christmas tree. It isn’t a real Christmas tree, I know, because I was born at a Christmas tree farm, but I enjoy it anyways.

Me explaining the Christmas tree
to Sister Dolly
It was really kind of funny when Dad brought out the great big box with the tree in it. Since this is my third Christmas here, I knew what was happening. Sister Sascha has been here at Christmas for two years. The young ones, Sisters Gracie, Zoe and Dolly had no idea what was going on since this is their first Christmas. Dad unpacked the tree and I was excited to hop into the big box. The young ones scattered and they weren’t sure what that big green thing was. But they learned pretty quickly that is wasn’t anything that was going to hurt them.

Oh, don’t worry about those green things that get the electrikle stuff in them, they weren’t plugged into the wall. But it was fun as the tree started coming together and Mom started putting some of those shining things that hang down on the tree. But you know what, the young ones were really pretty good…so far that is. Anyways, the tree is up and everyone seems to be enjoying it! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it! Purrrr! Zip! Later!
Oh, Whiskers loved Christmas. He was adopted at Christmas. He loved to sit under the tree on the tree skirt and he never knocked an ornament off. Back in the day when we had live Christmas trees we had so much fun playing in them once Daddy took them down. ~Socks
Hi Brian, I appreciate your offering to send me a hummingbird it is the thought that counts. You are very sweet and thoughtful. ~Scylla
Christmas is our favorite time of year!!

Our tree went up this weekend too! It is Saylor's first Christmas and she is loving it. She has already knocked the ornaments off the bottom, laid in the tree and now the bottom lights are no longer working. Oh what fun!
We hope you enjoy your tree! Ours doesn't go up until later because we are always climbing in it and knocking stuff off of it!
We will see the tree only by the tv because we will be in Italy at Christmas, mom said that Christmas is beautiful there, hummm .. I just want to see.Paloma never seen Christmas before, the last year she was a baby and was with his cat mom.Lud and cats 4 meows

I can tell the little Kittens will love Christmas.
Also a great place to hide.

YAY!!! Christmas! We've had LOTS of Christmasses, but this will be Cricket's 1st!!! We think she's gonna LOVE the tree
That is great that the tree is up and the shiny things are doing well so far. We have 1 new kitty and I don't think we will be as lucky with our shiny stuff! With 3 kitties new to the tree it must make it very exciting there for everyone.
Wait until all the young ones learn that there are all sort of toys dangling from the tree! It's basically one big cat toy, itself, too — good for climbing and all.
Oh what fun…so cool that you've put your tree up already 🙂 Wish we could have a tree, but our "Kitty Wrecking Ball" would have it knocked over and demolished in under a minute 🙂
You are going to have such fun.. Enjoy.. HUgs GJ x
It's starting to look a lot like Christmas. Our mom really enjoyed your post on gratitude. It puts everything into perspective.
My mom is still trying to decide if she is going to put up a tree this year or not since she has her shoulder surgery on Friday.
You look like you are doing a good job explaining that Christmas tree! We don't have a real tree here either!
Your dad is very brave. Around here, all Christmas decorations are out of paw reach. Very frustrating for the residents!
Glad you enjoyed the box!
Being born on a Christmas tree farm, you are just the kitty to explain it all to the young sisters!
