Earlier in the month a good blogging friend, Lisa of Cat of Nine Tails asked me if those were oak leaves she saw on my Dunno Cam. She thought that maybe Snafu was visiting with me because he really likes oak leaves and brings them to her often. Well, I had to tell Lisa that they really weren’t oak leaves, actually they are fake poinsettia leaves from the garland that Mom put around the railing.
Mom wanted to know how they got there too. I told Mom that they fell, but for some reason she didn’t quite buy that explanation. Okay, I guess I will have to admit it, sometimes I just see some of them that are in the wrong place. When that happens, what am I supposed to do? I really just wanted to move them, but once I got them down I had a heck of a time putting them back up. Hey, they were down so we might as well play with them, right? Right! Sister Dolly thought we ought to hide the evidence so we put some of them under the bed. But honestly I think I got carried away, there were way too many of them to hide. Oh well, I hope that doesn’t get me on that naught list thing! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!! Purrrr! Zip! Later!
Hmmm…Banjo was trying to give me the same story the other night about a couple of Christmas balls. No kitty in a well loved home would ever get on a 'naughty' list Brian. At least not for too long! 🙂
Brian, do you want to come be naughty with me? ~Scylla
Scylla stays on the naughty list. She keeps knocking the baby gate down and scaring Fenris. ~Socks (who thinks it is somewhat amusing) and Fenris (who doesn't think it is funny at all)
Brian, tell the truth. That way Santa will hear how good you are and bring you lots of presents.

You guys are just too funny! Hiding them under the bed!!! I guess so much for mommy's fake garland — it must look pretty ratty by now with all those flowers gone. She'll have to find something else to put up instead.
Ah ha! There they are in living color. It's hard to hide that type of evidence, and it's always best to be out front with all the truth. Hiding and lying are far more stressful. Part of a kitty's charm is their naughtiness, Brian so have no fear…we love it! Thanks for mention and linkage :).
~Lisa and your good friends at Co9T
MOL!!! Mom keeps hoping that she's going to see ONE of you on that cam! No luck yet. And we believe you in They Fell…
I think that you're not responsible. I think it's Santa to blame. What do you think?
Your not naughty
Your just getting into the
Holiday Spirit
LOL,Pretty sneaky trying to hide them under the bed. You just didn't hide the other ones in time. And you aren't naughty, after all they did fall off.
Hey Brian,
You just need to change your viewpoint of the whole naughty thing. Consider it a badge of honor! Your indelible right. You are a cat, Brian. Go forth and be naughty!
mew!
Katie
(Glogirly's cat)
Brian it sounds like you were just trying to help. My kitties would do the same thing when we used the holly garland on the railing. They would try and fix the berries, but couldn't put them back. We used different garland this year and they try and help with that too – I think kitties just have a specific way they like their garlands.
Of course, we also agree with Katie – naughty is a badge of honor!
You weren't being naughty, you were decorating!!!
Sniffie and the Florida Furkids
You were just trying to help, Brian…nothing naughty about that!
I don't see what is wrong with having them on the floor. It adds a nice though of color.
You got caught with your paw in the jar so to speak. Next time do better job of hiding the evdence. Good story for the naughty site.
uh-oh! is someone being a prada?
Ha! Ha! Your story is funny!
