"In health there is freedom. Health is the first of all liberties." — Henri-Frederic Amiel
This week I considered a number of topics. But as I was preparing to announce another topic, I continued to feel pulled to purr for HEALING. So many of us, our friends and our family are struggling and in need of healing…healing in body, mind or even spirit.
Also, I still feel tremendous sorrowful energy Haiti and its millions who are still dealing with the horrendous aftermath of earthquake there. Haiti’s people and animals…their very society needs healing.
“Love cures people – both the ones who give it and the ones who receive it.” ~ Dr.Karl Menninger
Therefore, this week we purrrrrrrrrrrrr for healings of minds from hatefilled, fearfull or anxious thoughts. We purrrrrrrrrrr for the healing of bodies from disease or injury. We purrrrrrrrrrrrr for the healing of spirits from hopelessness and despair.

Please stop by and visit the Confucius Cat’s Blog, he is after all, our fearless leader on the Purrs 4 Peace project.

The appointed time for Week 33 is Sunday, January 24, 2010. Participants should purr for three minutes commencing at 3:00 p.m.. EDT (U.S.) which is 8:00 p.m. (20:00 hrs.) BST in the U.K. The cat’s human staff should assist their cats with the project by stroking and nuzzling the cat at the appointed time.

Affiliate Disclosure: Sometimes I use affiliate links. What does that mean? It means that if I’ve used a product and liked it, or it's a company I buy from and trust and they have affiliate programs, I sign up. Then, when I mention that product or company in one of my blog posts, I use my affiliate link. Should you end up buying something as a result of one of those links, I might get a little sumpin’ for my treat fund.
