Yep, hard to believe, but it has been one year since we adopted Sister Gracie and Sister Zoe. Both of them came to us from Kitten Action Team (KAT) in Greenville, SC. The KAT women do such a wonderful job and, except for Sister Dolly, we were all cared for by those wonderful ladies.
Happy Gotcha Day sisters!
Sister Gracie was rescued from a dog attack when one of the KAT ladies just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Sister Gracie was fostered by a wonderful lady by the name of Ann. Ann took such good care of Sister Gracie and eventually she was healed up and ready for adoption. Mom saw her and it was love at first sight. The decision was made and Dad went to bring her to her new home.
Unfortunately we don’t know too much about Sister Zoe’s story or how she came to be with the Kitten Action Team. But when Mom sent Dad to adopt Sister Gracie, there she was. Her fluffiness caught Dad’s attention. She was kind of shy but she immediately picked out our Dad as someone she wanted to be with. The rest, as they say, is history.
So, on this day one year ago, we got a twofur! Two Sisters added to our family. Two Sisters! That made three sisters, and now I have four sisters. Thanks Sister Gracie and thanks Sister Zoe for being such wonderful sisters! Oh no, they will remind me I said that, won’t they?
In honor of Sister Gracie & Sister Zoe, remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!! Purrrr! Zip! Later!
