Okay, I’m getting just a little tired of all the cold in the south. Over the weekend we had a little snow, a little ice, and a good bit of cold. We were in the lucky group that didn’t get hit too bad by the big yucky winter storm that made it’s way through the south.
I’m ready for warm, I’m ready for this:
Hey, it’s time for The Great Backyard Bird Count, but if this cold stuff keeps it up I won’t have too many to count. Oh yea, thanks to my girlfriend Scylla for telling me about this. Anyways, hey weather humans, how about some warm stuff, we’ve got birds to count and windows to whiff! What about you?
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it! Purrrr! Zip! Later!
The bird count! I had forgotten all about that, Brian! I knew there was something to look forward to during these cold days..
Stay warm and think feathery, happy thoughts.
I completely agree with your Brian! I too am tired tired tired of the snow and the cold.
Sadly, I do not think I will be counting too many birds for awhile here at our house. 🙁
We totally agree Brian. It is time for Spring. Glad to hear that the worst part of the storm missed you. It missed us too. We would love to take part in the bird count too. We will look into it.
mom said she's getting really tired of going out in the cold to walk ben- it probably doesn't help that he peed on the carpet while dad was tying his shoes to brave the cold last night. Those beans were NOT happy.
We're over the cold too! We were lucky that we didn't get any snow, but it came very close!
We were cold, but we don't get any of the other nasty stuff that comes with cold.
The Bird Count? We'll have to check that out.
Sniffie and the Florida Furkids
You can come count birdies with me. Mommy is going to put some birdseed in the birdfeeder so she can count them from the window and not have to go outside in the cold. I tried to tell her that was cheating but she didn't listen to me. I caught a bluebird yesterday. I didn't hurt it though. Fenris barked and the Daddy came helped it escape. ~Scylla
We're with you, Brian. We're tired of all this cold weather in the south….this has been the coldest winter that we can remember. Even the birdies are shivering!!!!!!!!
Happy mancat Monday…..xxxxxxxx
Sounds like fun=we love to watch the birds in our back yard…Stay warm…xo…Calle, Halle, Sukki
Can't wait for the cold to be gone, too. Gotta watch the birdies.
We want the cold to go away too. We had a bit of snow yesterday but then it went again. We have lots of ice instead. WE WANT THE WARM TO COME BACK!!!
OMC, a bird count is coming up? Whoo hoo!
–JB
I agree! It is definitely time for spring to arrive!! Let the bird counting begin!
Now I'm one who loves winter, but after three days of flooding rains, we've had several days in a row with mornings below zero! That makes for restless doggies who can't go outside for too long to get exercise they need to leave the kitties alone. Talk about cabin fever!
We'd love to count birds…45 finches and 25 chickadees…that's a guess, but that's about all we get. Ha!

by the way you got tagged!
Brian, we're with you! We're in the north, though, but we're tired of the cold too! Thanks for letting us know about the bird counting! We'll have mom fill up the feeders and we should have some good Cat TV that week!
We are in the north too and cannot wait for the winter to be over. I'm not seeing any birdies over here they must be in your backyard!

Well, we were not supposed to get that much, just a dusting, even though we are in northern Virginia, the storm was supposed to track south… Mom and dad jumped in the car, they left at 9 in the morning (and left me home alone to suffer) and they went to Blizzies college apartment in Arlington Va. to bring her grocery foods, by the time they drove home at noon well it sure looked different and it took then over an hour to get home! we got 8" of very fluffy snow.I was waiting and waiting and waiting and freeezing… Read more »
You are looking great today Brian 🙂

We want warm too – although up here it will be a bit longer because that is always how it is. Mom is nervous because the big snow storms around here have been in February a lot.
We hope it warms up for you soon!
And we keep seeing stuff about the backyard bird count – we will have to check it out.
Hi Brian,
It's been snowing all day here! … a perfect day for me to put Glogirly to work. I've got her busy setting up my Twitter profile and Facebook Fan Page. A cat's got to have all her social networking in place you know!
Thank you for the sweet comment you left on Wendy's LOL Spot. We are very happy to have you as our friend too.
mew!

I think you are so true!!
Stay toasty, Brain 🙂
Brian–you look regal–just like the King of the house should!
Sorry about all the snow, ice and cold–here in Dallas, we got a surprise when the guys game to mow our lawn…. 🙂

Well Brian, we have some snow and that is OK. It is the big cold that we don't like. Well Mom actually as we don't go out! hahaha
We are sorry that it is cold where you are! We purr it will warm up for you. A bird count sounds like way more fun!
You are looking like a fine Mancat today too 😉
Purrs Mickey, Georgia Tillie
We don't get snow, just rain and hail. But we are waiting for spring.
I love bird counting, this should be great.
You're having a bird count? How exciting!
About the weather; we completely agree. We need some warmth now! But instead we've got another blizzard on our hands here 🙁
