Yesterday I was talking about some of my duties around the house. Another duty that I really enjoy is checking out things that make strange noises. Mostly the strange noises come from outside and you just never know when they are going to happen…I guess that is why they are strange. Since we live by a lake and we have woofie neighbors on both sides of us I often have to investigate. My poor sisters usually scatter when those noises happen so it is up to me to go check these things out. Mostly the noises are somewhat normal, but every once and a while there is a noise that even I can’t identify. But I still have to go check and then report to the sisters that all if fine and that they can come out of hiding. Oops, what’s that, I heard another one…gotta go check!
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
It's nice you are taking care of your sisters by being the one to check out the noises. I'm sure it might be a little hair-raising at times… Keep up the good work.
*nosetaps*
I will come keep you company while U check out the noises. ~Scylla
You are one brave mancat!
Checking out noises is an important job. I hear lots of strange ones cause I live in the city but my favourite noise that always gets me to the window is the police horses on fri/sat nights – I love watching them go by. *purrs & nosetaps* to you Brian.

Brian, you are a wonderful brother and an excellent mancat, always on guard and ready to defend your territory, siblings and humans!
oh boy tesla is our snoopervisor. IF she hears something outside she is SO there looking.
Oh Brian!!
You are such a manly mancat and very, very brave! I'm so glad your sisters have you as their strong and fearless brother!
Keep up the good work!! Me and Charlie are sending you and your sweet sisters tons of purry hugs that the weird noises remain outside!
Take care

You are very brave Brian ~ I hide under the covers when I hear strange noises, Banjo hides under the coffee table, Kurtis stays sleeping and doesn't hear a thing, and it's Wayne who has to get up, walk around the house, looking out the window! 🙂
You are a good kitty for protecting your sisters!
Have a wonderful Tuesday Brian!
xo Catherine
That is very mancatly to check out the noises to protect your sisters.
Good job Brian, looking at all those strange noises. We all take off running when strange noises happen. Too scarity for us. So you are a good boy to watch for everyone.
You are indeed the Alpha aren't you! Wizard is our checker of noises, though Nick and Snafu will help him out and Yukon will keep an eye on Wizard for his reaction. Everyone else hides.

Hey, Brian, we came by to say we hope your sister Sascha won't have to stay at the vet's too long. Purrs and tail wags.
Brian, we just read on the Cat Blogosphere that Sister Sascha is at the v*t, and we want to send her healing vibes and purrayers.
Brian we just read that Sascha is having tests at the vets today (wednesday) and we dropped by to leav some large rumbly purrs for her. We hope the tests go ok and she is home, healed and happy again very soon.

Hoe do you find the ants..do you smell them, see them, or hear them with your super sensitive cat ears?
