Sometimes things look easier said than done. Have you noticed that? I would imagine that most of us have ran into something that looked like a good idea but then, all of a sudden, we wondered what in the world am I doing. Well, it happened to me, and all I was really trying to do was go from one side of the living room to the other.
I know, I know, I probably am just a bit big to go through this shortcut. My sisters were kind of snickering at me too. Oh, they tried not to show it, but I could tell. I had no choice, I just stopped and stayed right here until they got bored and wondered off. I mean, I couldn’t let them see that I had a wee bit of a problem here. Really, it did seem like a good idea at the time. I wiggled my way through and went to the window like nothing ever happened. The sisters were none the wiser.
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
You mighta been stuck, but it makes a great picture Brian. Love it…
Oh how clever you are!!!
I thought you were wearing a nice stylish outfit!!
Maybe your sisters thought so,too!
And thank you so much for telling us about the cat blogsphere!
How sweet of you!!!
Actually we knew where it was (Jacqueline told us about it. She is so sweet like you!)but just couldn't read all those many English words…Our mommy got dizzy.
We're gonna try posting our link here!
Thank you!!!
Haha! Brian…just tell your sisters you meant to do that!!
Awww sweet Brian!! It did seem like a good idea didn't it but sometimes you have to try to discover what works and what doesn't! Me and Charlie think you have such an adventurous spirit that this is a very exciting thing to have done! We look forward to your many adventures!
🙂
Purrs and hugs to your gorgeous sisters too!
Take care
x
Hahahaha! That's too funny, Brian. But we're not laughing at you at all, really. It's something Derry would do…and he'd get stuck too! 🙂
We're not laughing at you, we're laughing with you! Hee hee hee!
Brian, you could just tell everyone that you were scratching your back. Good job getting out of there. Hope you have a very fine day.
Brian, sometimes when we try something new it doesn't work out. But often times you get the best stories from those adventures…
Happy Tuesday!
Haha! Don't feel bad Brian ~ sometimes Banjo underestimates his size as well and gets caught in a bit of a 'tight squeeze'! When you have so much fluffy goodness there's so much more to love! 🙂
Have a fun day Brian!
xo Catherine
Don't worry Brian, we won't tell anyone. Your mishap secret is safe with us.
~Lisa Co9T
Dear Brian we thought you were going to say that you have to reverse out!!!
The thought made us giggle – luv from Hannah and Lucy
We have that same scratcher and we love it!!! Bennette likes to sleep in the curves.
That is such a cool scratcher and the only reason it was a little "tight" is that you are just SOOOOO ManCatly.
I'm sure you were just testing it for the safety of the other kitties.
You weren't stuck…you were just pausing for a rest! 🙂
Purrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew
We have one like that and it's small … kitten size. You're supposed to bat at the toy inside but our toy is long gone. You did the right thing by waiting … always good to look around a bit. I'm sure they didn't even see you …
Oh Brian, that is just a wee bit embarassing…it sounds like you handled the situation like a true mancat though.
Brian, don't worry, because stuff like that happens at our house all the time! Just tell them that you meant to do it if they ask, and if they ask why you meant to do it tell them you were trying to make them laugh! It usually works at our house to use that excuse!
I think you were just resting, weren't you?
MOL…..what a total hoot!!!!!!! And we're proud of you for the way you handled the situation…….mancats are sooooooooo smart!!!!
xxxxxxx
hmph! Don't you HATE it when that happens?
We know you totally planned it that way…
pee ess: our word is "sitherse!
I would probably have a hard time going through this thing too. I'm quite a big cat. I have to say that you're clever and classy.
Aww Brian, you was just creating a photo-opt for your daddy. I knows you weren't stuck or anything.
Hi Brian,
much impressed in how discreetly you handled the situation! Mighty impressive!
Also, thank you for your comment in my blog, mate. Appeciated.
-Sherkhan
Well done! Never let 'em see you sweat! MOL!!!
Great picture! We know you MEANT to do that!
Brian
That was a great picture and we know you were ahhhh simply resting and picking your moment!
purrs

Abby
We love the picture! And we know you were just pausing for a minute to ponder the options – we would do the same if other cats were laughing (Speaking of that, you should see Tasha getting under the furniture! We don't have photos but it is pretty funny. She thinks she can do anything she did when she was a kitten – the problem is that her rear end is exponentially larger!)
Just act like you meant to do it… you knows that you didn't?
I thinks I would have had the same problem. Probably why we are purrfect for each other. ~Scylla
Good job, Brian! In situations like that, sometimes the best course of action is to just casually play it off. 🙂
Brian, you silly boy, even though you got yourself into a tight squeeze, you managed to wiggle through sweetie!!MOL…You are such a cool, handsome mancat and we love you!!…xo…Calle, Halle, Sukki
The hard thin about small tunnels an such is that they make your tail go down when ya are feeling happy an confident…
I think you do that with great meanings!!!!
How embarrassing but well handled. FAZ
do not worreh, Brain my dear! portly = cute and distinguished.
Don't worry Brian, we know you were just checking it for any damage so your sisters can play safely with it.
OMC that scratcher is neat! Have fun =^_^=
Oh, you weren't really stuck, were you? i thought you might be just checking out the scratcher.
Haha, you tried to take the tunnel! I have the exact same tunnel. I usually go over the tunnel, not under!
