Tabby Town Thursday in Greenville SC

34 Comments on Tabby Town Thursday in Greenville SC

Today I thought I would show you some of the artsy sights around Greenville.  There really is a lot going on when it comes to the world of art.

First, in Falls Park there is an outdoor stage where some theatre productions are performed.

art01

Then, on the other side of the falls, there is an entire section that is devoted to artwork.  There are all kind of little art gallery shops featuring some very talented local artists.

art02

Here is a view of the art gallery section opposite the falls.  It really is a pretty area and there are condos and apartments overlooking the entire area.

Then we have our famous Peace Center for the Performing Arts.  While I canโ€™t say that Iโ€™ve ever been to a performance there, my Dad and Mom have seen quite a few things there including The Phantom, Wicked, and just last Friday they went to see Harry Connick, Jr. and they said his show was pawsome!  Here are a few shots of our Peace Center for Performing Arts.

And finally, we do have a Symphony Orchestra too, and they do an amazing concert on the 4th of July which is choreographed with some amazing fireworks.  Sorry, I was more fascinated by the fountain.

I hope yโ€™all enjoyed the tour today.  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

There seems to be a lot for us to do in your town. I can't wait to visit some of those places with you. In the meantime why don't you teleport over and spend some time in the Butterfly Garden with me while it is still cool out. ~Scylla

Your town is so nice, Brian! And we love having you as a tour guide (we still think the town should hire you!)

Our mom is very impressed with how nice those condos and apartments look. They have been putting some up near the center of our (very small) town too and they aren't very attractive.

A most excellent tour as always Brian.

Your town has some pretty pawsome sights. Maybe someday we can go see them together – of course I don't know when that would be I'm not allowed to leave our yard right now.

You are a fine spokescat for your town…the Department of Tourism should put you on the payroll! I went with mom and dad to Shakespeare in the park in LA once. We saw Hamlet and when Hamlet demanded that his father's ghost "Speak" I barked out loud…everybody cracked up!

Maybe you set up a little kitteh-friendly tour company and make some extra cash for treats & 'Nip?

I did not realize there was so much in Greenville. We usually go for bookstores and Indian food. Have your Mom and Dad eaten at the India Palace? Good stuff. We will have to check some of the art stuff out.
