We had a pretty darn good weekend, even if the temperature was over 100º on Saturday and Sunday. At least we got some early morning window whiffin in and our NipFest was a big success. We still haven’t had any rain though, but some of my friends were affected by some of the flooding in the midwest, so my sisters and I have been purring for them.
Speaking of friends, I’m trying to help a woofie friend raise some money for his vet bills. I know things are tight all over and the CB is helping with funding for several of our kitty pals, so if you could pass this along to your woofie friends, I’d appreciate it.
Meet my pal Harlan…
Poor Harlan got out and was hit by a car. Although his basic vet care bills have been taken care of, Harlan will have to have his right front leg amputated. That’s going to be a bit expensive and since he is a friend, I’m trying to do what I can to help. Harlan will be able to get along fine on 3 legs and his family loves him very, very much.
You can read about Harlan and if you or your woofie friends can, kick in a $1 or $2…as we all know, every little bit help. My ChipIn Page for Harlan can be found HERE. Please purr for Harlan’s healing.
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Brian, We love your picture, and when we read your post we understood why you looked so serious. Poor little Harlan. We had a big dog named Satch who had to have a hind leg amputated, and after everything healed, he was running around and carrying on as if nothing happened. I'm sure Harlan will have good results, too. We are doing what we can to help. Please keep us updated.
