There is usually lots going on in downtown Greenville, so anytime I get downtown I always have to check and see what’s happening where.
Any boy, oh boy, has it ever been hot lately. Usually I don’t mind walking, but today I think I’ll catch a ride. There are several ways to get around town, including a ding-ding trolley and a horse and buggy ride. Purrsonally my favorite is the Rick-A-Shaw, the peddlers are usually very nice and very informative too!
Of course I made the driver stop a few times on our way down Main Street because I wanted to do a little mousing. Remember Mice on Main? Hey, I found another one new a local coffeehouse/theatre called the Coffee Underground.
I wasn’t kidding when I said it has been really hot, it has been well into the 90s every single day, so I wanted to go back down to the Falls Park area and cool off by the water for a while.
Of course, you know me, I had to check in on a couple of friends while I was in their neighborhood…
Then I had to stop by and visit one of my favorite statues, that of long time Greenville Mayor Max Heller. He really had a vision of what Greenville needed to grow into.
Oh yea, and something really exciting happened on the way home, a great big colorful thing came down out of the sky and landed in a parking lot right next to the road.
Ya just never know what is going to happen in Greenville, SC! But do remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

I need to visit your cool town. Love the mice and the water fall area. Tell your Mom that I love how she puts you in the photos.
Greenville looks a very nice place to live in. We think it must have been cooler down by the waterfall – a good place to have a picnic.
What a great tour–we almost forgot about the little mice!
It looks like a very pretty spot to live, with lots happening on the cultural and tourist scene, which is great!
Once again kudos for being such a brilliant tour guide around your lovely city. xxxxxxxxxx

You are such a good promoter for your lovely town, Brian! Now we all want to go there. (And our mom is in awe of your humans' Photoshop skills!)
We hope it will cool down a little bit there soon – we are having relatively cool weather here today and for the next few days.
More wonderful views of Greenville! Your city is full of interesting and cool things to see and do! Albuquerque hosts the International Balloon Fiesta in October and hundreds of those colorful things float in our skies for 10 days…it is beautiful but the propane heaters hurt pup ears when they are triggered to make the balloon go up.
What a wonderful tour guide you are, Brian! Thanks for showing us the sights. 🙂
Thanks for another great tour Brian. The Falls look lovely, just right for cooling our toes.
Another great tour, Brian! That sure was fun!
What a fine day on the town you had today. Very interesting sights. I think I would like a ride on the rick shaw too. Mom would like the horse and buggy. When Mom and Dad were managing a motel in Madera CA. they had a balloon festival on Memorial Day. Mom loved that. She would on the road down from the motel and sit in the car and watch them go up in the sky. They had to cancel it several times because of the wind. They ended up canceling ther all together.

Brian, you haf REALLY been gettin around! Keep it up an Cheysuli is gonna get jealous. MOL!
Um, did the rainbow bein die in that parkin lot? It looks deaded…
It does look like a lot happens there.
Seeing the hot air balloon made me remember the time that the balloons by our house went off course and landed in OUR yards! Talk about seeing them up close. 🙂
What a wonderful tour Brian! We never knew there was so much cool stuff in Greenville! It's pretty far from San Francisco, but who knows? The Human might get there someday!
You are one well travelled kitty Brian! 🙂
xo Catherine
