Can you believe how hot it has been??? Me either! This 100º stuff has got to stop, it is seriously impacting our window whiffin time. My Dad has been watering the plants every night once the sun goes down and he cleans out the bird bath and puts fresh water in it too. Oh yea, it’s a bird bath, but not only does our neighbor cat Tiger drink out of it, but the squirrels drink out of it too. I worry about the outside critters when it is so hot. I know, I know, before too long I’ll be complaining about how cold it is, but right now it’s hots I got!
I am very thankful that we do at least get our early morning window whiffs. I’m also very thankful that we’ve got those vent thingys that blow cool air. Anyways, right now I do believe it is time for a nap!

WOW It sounds super hot there, hope the air blower is keeping you cool. Here we have the fire stoked up and trying to keep our paws warm.
It's just too bad we can't all 'pool' our weather together and get some really perfect days isn't it? We have only had about 3 days this summer where we could say it is 'hot'. Well… if we didn't have the weather to complain about what would we do? 🙂

It finally cooled off here a bit…only in the 80s!! But lower humidity…yay!! We see the squirrels drink out of our birdbath all the time.
We had a little thunder boomer this morning but it didn't help much.

My guys only have the early morning wiffs too then we close everything up before it gets too hot. Sometimes when I get home from work our birdbath is empty and I wonder if all the animals who visit got a drink!

Mama actually turned the A/C off last night, but it's back on again now! We can't wait for fall!
We hate the hots too – we are more spring/fall weather kind of kitties. We hope that it gets cooler there for you so you can get in some more window wiffin. And we also get a little worried when it is this hot for all the animals outside – hopefully they at least have some shade to stay in.

That is way too hot. We've been complaining here because it's over 80 (of course no one has air conditioning).
We are also very thankful to live inside. Our mom has been adding ice cubes to the bird baths. They love the cool water and almost seemed surprised when they step in.
We feels the same way!
We are ready for fall (our fall is so much like summer weather in the NW!)– we just hope we get through hurricane season without any visits!

Mommy woke up this morning and only Rupert was in bed so she knew it was cooler out…and we were all outside playing on the Catio! We're down to 102 from 113 last week. It's pretty dang hot.
Awww Sweet Brian!! Me and Charlie hope you have a good nap and have a cool evening!! We think you do look incredibly HOT in your pic!! Your dad is very kind to leave water out for all the critters outside in the heat!! We try to leave water here too – all sorts of creatures come and drink from the water bowl! They must be so thirsty!

We have been purrty hot here too! Thank goodness we live in a basement apartment! It helps keep our place cooled off, along with the same type of cold blowing vents you have.
The hot is kind of a pain, for sure. I'm glad your dad takes care to provide water for the outdoor critters. We're going to ask our mom to do that, too.
