Sometimes sisters can just surprise you! Remember I’ve told you how Sister Sascha was having some stress ever since we added Sisters Gracie, Zoe and Dolly to our family. Well, how about that! After about 8 months with Sister Dolly and after a year with Sisters Gracie and Zoe, my sweet Sister Sascha has made the adjustment. Sister Dolly tries to snuggle in with her and Sister Sascha doesn’t object any more. That, my friends, is a totally amazing transformation.
Sister Sascha came to live with us after my brother Ivan died. We got along just fine and it was us two kitties. Then, out of the blue, we got Sisters Gracie and Zoe. Of course that was fine with me, but poor Sister Sascha didn’t cope too well. Sister Gracie and Sister Sascha made up pretty quick, but Sister Zoe just wanted to chase Sister Sascha. Then, Sister Gracie started protecting her. Oops, along came Sister Dolly. Sister Dolly just wouldn’t give in, she wanted to be friends, and just look at that result.
Of course, that left Sister Zoe as the only one that Sister Sascha still got stressed over. Oh, they get along okay, but Sister Sascha was always nervous around her. Well, imagine my surprise!
Sister Sascha actually sitting with Sister Zoe. It wasn’t too long ago that if Sister Sascha was at the door having a whiff and Sister Zoe came over, Sister Sascha would scoot out of the room. Now, we all play together at playtime too, and Sister Zoe no longer chases her. Well, that could be because Sister Sascha doesn’t run from her any more. We are all very proud of our Sister Sascha, she is hanging out with the family all the time now. Hey, maybe it is just because they all have such a nice brother!
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Brian I am sure you were instrumental in setting them up to be good buddies.
Yes, it's wonderful that they are getting along and I bet it's because you set such a good example.
Have a great day.
How wonderful that everyone is getting along so nicely! Your home must sure be filled with lots of love! 🙂
Have a wonderful Thursday kitties!
xo Catherine
This is wonderful, Brian! We're pleased Sister Sascha finally has adjusted and is doing well! (Our Annie and Nicki still have their spats after 3+ years, both of them wanting to be top cat and Nicki so jealous. So it's not always a peaceful household for us!)
The pictures of Sister Sascha are beautiful – we are pleased that she is joining in the window whiffin and snuggles now.
aw, that is great news. Sister Sascha, you should be very proud of how far you've come. I'm sure you'll have lots of fun and snuggles with your sisters now that things have settled down.
I'll bet your mommy is so very happy at this turn of events!
Thanks for the purrs, I'm feeling much better!
Isn't it nice when everyone gets along???
Sniffie and the Florida Furkids
That's so wonderful that everyone is getting along. It could have something to do with Brother Brian.
Brian did you moderate from afar?
Aww!!! Sister Sascha is such a sweetie!!! Me and Charlie are so happy that she is adjusting wonderfully with her equally beautiful sisters Zoe, Gracie and Dolly!! We just know they are going to be bestest furriends furever!!!!
Of course it's also because you are such a good brother handsome Brian!! Well done you!
Take care

YEAH !!!
Our Meredith has been here for almost 8 months and she still hides when she sees some of the Purr Gang. The good news is that Ashton doesn't hiss at her anymore.
I guess time does heal all! I wouldn't be surprised if the latest addition of Dolly somehow changed the interactions. Sometimes adding another to the mix is a good thing.
I'm so happy for Sister Sascha that she has found some peace at last!
That's great that everyone is getting along now–and look at all the gorgeous floof you get to see in one area!
Wow it is so great that everyone seems to get along now. We think it is so wonderful that Sister Sascha has relaxed and that the other sisters don't upset her anymore!
We are so very very glad that Sister Sascha is not as nevous. Pretty soon they will be curled up together.
I think your example of kitty deplomacy has a lot to do with it Brian. You are a great brother and king.
Oh, I'm sure the quality of the brother has a LOT to do with it!
We are so happy to hear everyone is getting along and enjoying being together=that is quite an accomplishment in a multi kitty home!…It took a little while for C/H to accept Sukki too, but they are always together now…kisses sweet friends…Calle, Halle, Sukki
I think that is the exact reason, all because of you being the best brother. 🙂
We are glad they are all getting together now! An we are sure its becuz you are such a good brother…
We are sure it is because of the wonderful brother. We have some young ladies here too, that are very scairt. Gertrude hates other cats but is beginning to get along with some of the kitties here. Mewmew is very afraid too but she is also very crabby.
Glad to heart that Sister Sascha is feeling a little more comfortable.
Brian
That is wonderful news!
I still fuss at all of my brofurs and sisfurs but Momma says I am a crab apple — is that a good thing?

Yay for Sister Sascha! I love it when everybody gets along 🙂 I'm sure you being such a great bro helped a lot Brian!
That is great news that everyone is getting on well together.
Brian, that is so very sweet to see them getting along so well!! Beautiful pictures! Lots of love, Debbie and Holly
Brian, can you please come over and settle some ongoing disputes at the Katnip Lounge?
Payment in ham, temptations, and monter belly rubbins. Oh, and Nip.
Sincerely, MomKat Trish
Awww.. so precious. There's nothing more heartwarmming than a happy family!
~Casper and Angel~
We're glad Sister Sascha is doing better with the other sisters now. We wish we could get along as well…but our Zoey wants to be an only cat….
It takes time to adjust and having a great brother like you only hleps!
How great Brian, unity in the family now. I'm so glad that sister Sascha finally came around and is not stressed out anymore. We have never had problems like that even when Mom introduced Cleo to our family five years ago, except Cleo wants to play and I can't play with her anymore like I used to. Yes Brian, having a good brother probably really helped.

Some times adjusting takes a long time…
Brian, it WAS your gentle influence that brought everyone together. Mom hopes that someday I am as totally comfortable with Quinn…I still don't let him sleep in mom and dad's room at night with us and I sometimes bark to keep him out when he uses the dog door and I DO get pretty protective of dad's time…but I WAS here first!
You are a good influence Brian! I used to be nervous around around Spooky! Now I am nervous around that Little Reye!
