I had a very exciting weekend! My Dad and I got to attend the 2010 Bark World Expo in Atlanta, GA. Besides our 2 blogs and Facebook, we are fortunate to have thousands of friends on Twitter. We got to meet up with some of the most famous Twitter pets in the world and is was so nice to be able to meet their human staffs in purrson. Also, it was so wonderful to have dinner with the world famous @frougaldougal @niqqi @BunnyJeanCook @smokeypoodle @GeorgeTheDuck @InformedFerret @justanothertrnd @mattiedog @MaggieTKat @BruskieButt and @EdnaAtNutro as well as others.
Bark World Expo was a social media even for pets, not just dogs. I met up with @BunnyJeanCook @GeorgeTheDuck and @InformedFerret too, so it really was a multi-species event. The whole focus of the event was how to better reach your intended market to benefit animals and how to better utilize your blogs, Twitter and other social media. The speakers were excellent and my Dad and I both learned a lot. There sure was a whole lot of creative talent there!!!
