Hello everyone, Sister Zoe here. We’re shaking up our hijack days because us gals think that Brother Brian was getting a little bit suspicious about something going on with his post for Thursday. So while sisters Sascha, Gracie and Dolly keep him busy I will tell you a little bit about me.
I was rescued by the same nice ladies at Kitten Action Team that rescued Brother Brian, Sister Sascha and Sister Gracie. As a matter of face, Dad and Mom adopted me on the same day they adopted Sister Gracie. It caught me totally off guard too. Dad came to adopt Sister Gracie and many of us were playing in the rescue area of PetSmart. In came this human and I ducked under one of the carts that holds food and litter. I wasn’t sure what was going on so I carefully peeked out from under the cart. Well, the human spotted me and came over and picked me up. Even though I was scared, I gave him one of the best purrs I could give. The next thing you know I was in a PTU being transported to my new home. What a surprise. I had my own room too for a few days and it had a screen that went at least two thirds up the door. I was ready to explore my new home after a few days so I gave it the old leap of faith and up and over the screen I went. Dad and Mom said I decided on my own that it was time to be with the others. As you can tell, I’m pretty independent, I know what I want and when I want it.
Being out was fun and I quickly learned that Sister Sascha wanted to be chased. That must have been what she wanted because she ran every time she saw me. I was new so I felt obliged to chase. Now we all chase and run for play. My favorite toy is a long while shoe lace and I look forward to evening playtime with the crew.
My furs are a little unique too. I have (or had) lots of long furs and the furs on my sides are shorter. But the furs on my tummy are curly. I do love being brushed and rarely pass up a good brushing.
Lately though I’ve been a bit under the weather. I’ve had a yeast infection in my ears. How yucky is that?!? It really caused me to not feel well and I had a horrible case of the itchies too. The itching caused me to lick and lick and lick and most of my long furs went away. You can see the difference in my before the itchies and after the itchies picutres…
Before the itchies:
After the itchies:
See the difference? Anyways, after some antibiotics and some steroids I’m feeling much better now and have quick the constant licking. Maybe my long furs will grow back too!
Oh yea, I understand we’ve been sharing some pictures of when we first came home, so here’s one of mine.
I really do love my home, and right now I really love not itching so much. Thank you for letting my share a bit about me. As brother says, remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

HI Zoe,
You look quite smart after the ear/ grooming session. Sorry it was itchy though, I would recommend no milk for a while due to the high sugar. THis only feeds fungal growths.
ah your description of your floofs sounds exactly like our dear departed ginger puss Morgan Goch and he was half Ragdoll, do you think you might be? the unusual coat is unique to them.and the word verification looks like welsh! twp is welsh for stupid!!
Hi Sister Zoe – we are glad to hear your itches aren't so itchy now. We love your gotcha story and so pleased that your Dad decided to bring you home too.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Sister Zoe, we sure are glad that Dad found you. Especially that you let him pick you up. You weren't kidding about losing your hair. I hope it all comes back with all those medicines. We will be purring for your hair to grow.
Have a special day.

Oh My … when I got Meredith Ann she had a hair cut. It's been almost ten months and her fur is growing in long and fluffy like.
You got a better cut than she did though…
I love hearing about you ladies!! I'm glad you are feeling better — you are such a pretty girl 🙂
Zoe we are so sorry you have had the itches. Artemisia has curly tummy hair too. Do you have trouble with yours matting? Mommy has been having to cut the mats out of Arty's tummy hair.

Hi Zoey! We are happy to learn more about you. We are sorry about the itchies (it's making us itch even thinking about them!) but we think you look beautiful both before and after.
Zoe, we think your new look is quite becoming, but we bet your frill grows in this Fall in time for the cold weather.
It's been fun learning about you girls…we wonder what Brian's gonna do if (when)he finds out he's been hijacked?
Zoe you are such a gorgeous beautiful girl. My long furs disappeared too with my itchies I had in my ears. The V-e-t gave me steroids and for about 6 weeks I am better and my furs start growing in again. My itchies are allergies though.
Tell all of your brofurs and sisfurs I send headbonks.
Nice to meet you Zoe. We are glad you found a great furever home…and we are even more glad that your itchies are going away.

I guess it was meant to be that you came home at the same time as Gracie. It seems like you fit in very quickly — you must be quite sociable — even with the chasing. That's only in fun, after all.
I'm so sorry you've have some health problems, but happy that the itchies have gone away now. That is some big difference in your coat. I'm sure it will grow back with winter coming on.
That 3/4 fenced door idea is BRILLIANT! Love the cat psychology there.
What a sweet little cat you are; lucky too.
Hi there, Zoe! What a great story of how you got gotted. It was all in your purr!!
We're sorry you lost your furs…we bet that now you're feeling better, they will grow back!!
Hi Sister Zoe! It is so nice to see you again and what a great surprise to get to read your adoption story! We hope the long furs grow back soon. The itchies sound terrible, poor Sister Zoe! You sound a little bit similar to Pricilla, she also has curly hair on her tummy. It usually straightens out after a shower, then as she gets drier, curly again. Mawhawhaw! BTW in case you're wondering about the first comment, it is in Japanese and from somebody who doesn't understand what you said, because it says "your fur looks cooler before being… Read more »
