Yep, that big gray box with the handle is out again. That means that my Mom is going to be gone for a while. Drat, we all hate it when that happens. But we all know that Dad will take really good care of us as he always does.
My Mom is off to visit her Mom up in the mountains of West Virginia. We are all excited here too because my Mom’s Mom will be moving to South Carolina sometime around the end of October or the first part of November. We are so happy that she will be closer to us and that we will get to meet her and show her how much we love her. Up where she lives they had something like 263 inches of snow last winter so she won’t have to deal with that any more, nope, not in South Carolina. So my Mom is headed up to help her get started packing some things up. That sure is good news, we’re excited.
I think I had best go tell Dad that I’m ready for a treat or something. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
yup, we all hate that dreaded suitcase as well. we leave as much fur and hairballs as we can when it rears its ugly head.

The dreaded suitcase! With the old orange cat we had to hide it in the closet and lock him out when we packed then hid it in the closet again.

Tell your mom to have a safe trip. Whenever my wife has to travel, our kitties do the same thing. It is usually next to impossible for her to pack, because they keep crawling into the suitcase.
Usually those things mean bad news, but I'm glad this time that it's good news for you!

It will be nice having Grandma closer and safer from bad weather…I bet your mom will worry a lot less. Take good care of dad while she is gone…you know sometimes dads need a little extra help getting into the "groove" of the normal house routine…you know, like "yes, really mom gives us treats WHENEVER we ask for them!"
