Yep, Halloween is getting closer and there are several contests going on, but honestly, since that dreaded chicken hat I’ve not been too much into the costume thing. But I do like Halloween, it is fun to see all the goblins out n’ about. Sister Gracie is so funny, she runs every time the door bell rings.
Hey, there was a contest a while back over at my friends place at Palaver from Pellie & Ghengis Khat . If you haven’t visited them, please check them out, they are way cool. Anyways, they were having a contest and were giving away a very pretty cross-stitch Black Hat Society item that was just totally purrfect for Halloween. Guess who won???
Isn’t that cool, we’re going to put it on our mantle and proudly display it…once I get it away from Sister Zoe!
After she finally got it away from Sister Sascha!
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
That's a cool cross stitch. And, as you say, purrfect for this time of year. I'll be anxious to see your costume… Have a great day.

Hi Brian! We totally understand about the costume thing (just so you know, the one we are sponsoring at Hansel's doesn't need a costume – we just wanted you to know). And wow, congrats on winning that cool prize – it is perfect for Halloween!
Oh Brian..what a cool prize! You and your sisfurs enjoy that.
Mommy tried to dress me up once. I came close..all the way up to but not quite, to laying a bitey on her!
Brian, we have that awful chicken hat too. We guess Mommy will be dusting off the pictures from the humiliating chicken hat session for Halloween.
*sigh*
On a happier note, concats on your prize!
Concatulations on the prize – that is a very nice cross stitch & frame! No wonder Zoe and Sascha wanted to hang onto it.
I guess Sisters Zoe and Sascha really want to be memPURRs of that Black Hat Society, so I sure hope you will go out and buy them little witchie hats for Hallowe'en.
Congratulation…That's the cool prize

Costumes? Ugh, Brian. Don’t give my mommy any idea’s!
thanks… your pal, Alex!
What an unusual and very cool Halloween decoration! I bet it will look perfect on the mantle…maybe with some cobwebs?
That will be very nice as part of your halloween decorations.
I am not nervous of much, but the doorbell terrifies me. So Halloween is not my holiday, unfortunately.
HOw beautiful Brian and concats on the win!

ConCATS on winning that great cross stitch! Moosey and Sammy said to tell Gracie that they do not like the doorbell, either. When that thing rings, they disappear!
Very cool cross stitch! Everyone looks so pretty! Macy has a cowgirl outfit for Halloween. She likes dressing up. :) When she goes and gets groomed she gets a scarf and she will wear it for days. When I take it off she will bring it back to me so I can put it back on her. :)
Like that cross stitch. How about going as a tiger cat? Then all you need to do is ROAR!
That is a very nice prize, Brian, purrfect for Halloween. Good of you to share it with your sisters. It looks pretty good there, displayed on your tree!
-Pip, Smidgen, Minnie
Nice work!
Well done.
I'd be careful trying to get it away from those proud recipients!
That is a great prize and it looks like the furry kids think so too!

What a great prize, Brian! Congratulations! I am going to a doggie Halloween event where the dogs dress up and play games. I promise to take some pics to post. Thanks for your visits to my garden. Next time you stop over, check out my new pics on my sidebar of Tortie and Gracie.

My daughter calls herself the Queen of Halloween. She's a forty-two year old kid!! And she loves cats. Always has. She also has the two adorable Jack Russell terriers.
Your post reminds me of her house which is now brimming with Halloween "creatures." I think I'm going to post some of her pictures. Your post has spurred me on!! Thanks!!!!
Ann
