Hooray, we made it to Friday once again and it is T.G.I.F. time!!! Today T.G.I.F. stands for The Grass Is Fading…
Yep, the grass isn’t nearly as green as it once was. A lot of my friends said they are glad Fall is here and a bunch of others said that Autumn was their favorite time of the year. Are Fall and Autumn the same thing? Why would humans have two names for the same thing? Why don’t the call it Faltumn? It gets confusing sometimes, in feline we just call it Meowowomne, nice and simple! Anyways it’s that time of year when our grass starts to turn brown, the leaves start falling, the temperatures start dropping. Whatever this time of year is called, it’s one of my favorites too, right in between way to hot and way too cold.
So what are you up to this weekend??? This is a big weekend for us, our Grandma is moving to South Carolina this weekend and should be here late Sunday evening. That’s exciting for us because we’ve never met her…and she loves kitties! We’re going to be cleaning up so we can give her a proper welcome.
Whatever you are up to this weekend, have fun, be safe and take plenty of naps. Always remember to adopt cats, we deserve it!!! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

We bet Grandma will want to give you all lots of lovely scritches.
You means you actually had green grass dis summer? Wow! Mine was all brown and crisp…kinda looked all burnt up from no rain…sigh!
Hows exciting fur ya'lls to meet your grandma.
Puddles
This is when our grass turns green, which means the rainy season has begun….
Love the kitty pics. You know I like kitties too!!!

We love Meowowomne, too! We like it when the leaves fall … they look like fluttering birdies. And we LOVE birdies!
Have fun with Grandma. How exciting that she is moving to be closer to you all. She is going to absolutely LOVE you!!! 🙂
I hope you have a nice weekend too! Say hi to Grandma!
Sounds like you are having an exciting and busy weekend! Enjoy.

How totally exciting that you are going to get to meet your Grandma….we know she will love all of you. xxxxxxxx
Sounds like your weather is nice there. We're going to have rain starting tonight and all weekend, bummer. The tree leaves have been falling like crazy for a few weeks now, not many left on the trees. Hope Gramma has a safe trip. Have a great weekend!

Brian! Thanks for visiting us today! We are adding your blog to our list so we don't miss any of your adventures from now on.
We agree, why are there two names for Autumn? Why don't they just call it Pre-Winter?
Grammas are around to spoil us. I never met mine but they liked cats. I'm not an Autumn fan because it's too chilly to have the windows open. xoxo
Brian, you are so sweet and funny too!! We love your definitition of autumn! We hope you have a great weekend and have lots of fun! Love, Holly and mom
You hit the nail on the head – whatever it is called, Fall is nice because it comes between Way too Hot and Way too Cold. Perfect for cats and for humans. But Mom has mixed feelings about Fall, because the next season is Way too Cold.
We're glad for Fall. It's a lot easier going out in our fur coats when the temps are a bit cooler 😉 Have a nice visit with your Grandma.
How fun for you to meet your Gramma! We bet you'll love her, and vise versa.
We love fall because the windows and doors to the Little Out and the Catio are wide open, and we don't have to pester all the time. We have Cat flaps, but we prefer purrsonal attention…heh heh.
Meowowomme is a FANTASTIC name for autumn/fall!! Me and Charlie think that it should be the official name for this season and be introduced as mandatory asap!! Well done clever Zoe and Gracie!! Awwwww you two look gorgeous watching garden TV!!
We are so happy that your grandma is moving closer to be with you all! Yay!! How exciting!!
Hugs too to sweet Brian, Dolly and Sascha! Take care
x
What a great weekend you're going to have! Is your Grandma moving in with you?
We are still in spring/summer here. Still have to have the A/C on — and we are extremely dry. They are worried about drought conditions.

"Faltumn" – it's purrfect!!
Hey Brian 🙂
Sounds like you're all going to have a great weekend. Don't worry about the grass, ours is never green because our Dad doesn't water it during summer, or spring or autumn – he just relies on the rain in winter. haha.
It sounds like you are going to have a wonderful weekend! I like Fall too…I just wish it lasted longer.
We're going to a football game tomorrow. 🙂 Go Panthers!
Wow. It sounds like your going to have a great weekend; Meeting your Grandma and all.

Love that picture of the two of you! And very exciting that your grandma is moving close to you!
Your pal, Pip
It sure sounds like you have a fun weekend in store, Brian!
Good point – why two names for one thing? I prefer the name "autumn" myself.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Sounds like you and Grandma will be getting on great together.
Hey, Brian, I love how you always come up with another clever meaning for TGIF! And have a great time with Grandma coming.
You guys look really happy and relaxed. Keep it up!

What fun! I bet grandma will LOVE you all! I hope she brings pressies. It will be nice to have her living closer. Enjoy the autumn weekend. We hope to head for the Park on Saturday and then brunch at our old agility buddy, Buster's house on Sunday.
Faltumn! I love it!
Hope your Grammy likes SC! Will she live with you all the time? Our Grammy came to NC and lived near us – she loved cats too.
It will be fun having your Grand Mother there! Another set of hands for scritches!
We cant see any grass up here (since we live in apartment) but Mom said she will take us to the park soon 🙂
-The Purrrrrs-
Sounds like the grass will be nice and green for you kitties to eat!
We love fall around here too. Or autumn. Or whatever it is.
We like this time of year too! Its not too hot or too cold or too dry or too rainy. The flowers are still blooming. We like Spring too, but there arent many flowers…
Oh boy, it does sound like you have an exciting weekend. Enjoy meeting your Grandma, hopefully she will bring you some kitty toys. 🙂
