Sometimes simple is best, it’s so less complicated! Today I am thankful for the simple things in life. Today I would like to share one of those with you.
Back in August, my friend Hansel from The World of Hansel was having a CSN Stores give-away contest. His sweet Sister Tesla drew the winning entry and it was me. I won a $50 gift certificate to CSN Stores. That was pretty exciting because, as most of you know, they have all kinds of cool stuff. I looked and looked at all of the toys and all of the cat trees and all of the tables and all of the bowls, and then I went back and looked again. All of a sudden when I was browsing through their store, I saw it, it was purrfect, I knew it had to be. I clicked on Order Now and it was out of stock. Drat! I’ll wait, it was important. They had an email thingy where you put in your email address and they let you know if they get any more. Hooray, they emailed me and told me they had more of them. I immediately went and placed my order. I bet my friends Hansel, Tesla and Benny thought I forgot, but it was important that I wait.
Oh, I haven’t told you what it is. Well, first let me tell you that my sweet Sister Gracie was the victim of a vicious dog attack when she was an itty bitty kitten. Actually, that’s how she came to be rescued, a nice lady saved her from the doggy and took her to Kitten Action Team (KAT). Sister Gracie was tore up pretty bad and had to have some surgery to help heal her wounds. As most of you know, she healed up quite nicely and you would really never know. But she can’t jump very high. That’s where the problem comes in, you see, my Mom and Dad’s bed is really, really tall and it is quite the challenge for Sister Gracie to make it up there. She always does, but she just makes it about 3/4 of the way and has to climb up the rest of the way. But she makes it.
So when I saw it, I just knew it was purrfect and just what Sister Gracie should have. The brown pants human came and brought it too us late last week.
Yep, I couldn’t believe it, they actually make a pair of stairs that Gracie can use and get up on the bed the easy way! The best part in the whole world is she likes them and knew immediately what they are supposed to be used for. Gotta love that Sister Gracie!!!
Simple is best. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Mum bought Brudder stairs when he had his back surgery…he wouldn't use 'em though. Mum thinks it was cuz they wasn't carpeted sooooooo…I am glad yous has carpet…keeps ya from slippin.

So nice of you to wait for the stairs to come in for Gracie. We have some too cuz lots of our cats are old and can't get up on the furniture like they used to. Cats need special help sometimes too!

Awesome stairs! As bad as I hate to admit it, my bro Tiger could probably use those. My sister (also named Gracie) probably could as well. Hmm.. you've given me something to consider. And a strange pain in my side as well… is that goodwill toward Tiger?

Brian, you have got to be the BEST brofur in the world. Those steps will make bedtime purrfect for Gracie, and the rest of you too, as you get older. We got one for KonaKitty who has hurty hips and she loves it.
