#peace Today I am participating in the Blog Blast for Peace which is the wonderful creation of Mimi Lenox . Mimi began the Blog Blast for peace in 2006 “with one single post and a cry for peace in our world.” That one post has grown into a virtual movement.

I am so fortunate to have a peaceful existence, but I know the world is not as lucky. There are many in my species that do not have a peaceful existence, far from it. In fact, many species the world over will never know the the happiness and joy of peace. It is my fondest hope that all species may experience peace in our lifetimes. We need to try to make the world a better place. I will do my part, but my part is small, but together, that’s where the power is, together we can make a difference. Put one paw forward, one step at a time, and at the end of the day maybe peace we will find.

Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Of course, it is Thursday and that means it is time for the

A journey of a thousand pawpads begins with a single step…if we all work together we can accomplish big things, one little paw at a time.

  22. Finding Pam

Anyone that adopts cats and dogs is good in my opinion. Beautiful globe and post.

  23. Cat with a Garden

We were purring for Peace all day yesterday too. And we think we will continue doing so!

  24. Beth

A great post, Brian. We are fortunate to have a peaceful life; peace means a lot more than absence of war; to me it also means inner peace. Inner peace is not always easy to have as there is a lot of conflict and lot of distractions out in our world. You make your life more peaceful and joyful for your mom and dad. Petting animals decreases blood pressure!

  25. Debra Taylor

Yes, Brian, together we can all make a difference for peace. And, to me, peace includes reducing suffering for kitties, too.

Thanks for such a wonderful post!

For all you folks and animals reading this my blog has stories and information helpful for cat helpers everywhere. Let your ‘beans know!

I pray that all cat blogosphere kitties stay well!
