I was very excited to learn that my good friend from Malaysia, Ellen Whyte had published her eleventh novel, the Blackmail Bride. Yep, number eleven! This one she did under the pen name of Normanda Whyte and not only is it her first romance novel, it’s also her first
e-book too. That means that it is available for the most popular
e-book readers! Not only that, 10% of the earnings from the book sales will go to Furry Friends Farm, a wonderful rescue group!
I must admit, I don’t read too many romance books, but I guess I’m just a romantic at heart because this one is a page turner. I got involved with the characters in the first couple of pages. Who is this Jack, and how did he get in trouble in the first place? And what about Lucy? Can she really help him? Nope, I’m not going to tell you, you need to buy the book and find out for yourself. You won’t be sorry! Want a teaser??? You can download the first chapter HERE but clicking on DOWNLOAD SAMPLE. You’ll want to read the rest.
I follow Ellen and her cats Au and Target on a regular basis on their blog at Katz and Other Tales, so if you don’t know them please stop by and pay them a visit. Au just went through an ordeal and had to have an operation, but fortunately he is recovering nicely.
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Note: I was not compensated in any way for this review, the opinions expressed herein are my own and are completely honest.

I think it's such a loving thing to devote part of the earnings to such a wonderful cause.

Nothing like reading a good book. Sometimes its fun to read a type you don't usually read. I don't usually read mysteries, but last week I tried one of Janet Evanovich's books and it was kind of fun.
Sounds like a neat book, we will have to check it out!
I still have not had anyone read this book to me and I am still offering free lap time to anyone who buys the book and reads it to me.
Chey.
That sounds like a good book…we will check it out!!! Lots of love, Holly and mom
We will have to get mum to have a look at this book – how kind of Ellen to give 10% to Furry Friends Farm.

Nice book review, Brian! The book title is very attractive, too.
We met Au and Target recently and have been visiting their very interesting blog. We have noticed the book at CB but didn't connect it with the kitties' mom. Will certainly check it out.
Wow, Brian, thanks for the pawsome endorsement! I'm really chuffed. Also blushing 🙂
Mom likes romance books and this sounds good. It's so good of her to give some of the proceeds to a worthy cause.
