Hello everyone, it’s hard to believe that Christmas Day has come and gone! Guess what we got for Christmas. Yes, you may have already guessed it…
We got snow! Yes, snow, in South Carolina! According to our local newspaper, this is only the fourth white Christmas since they began keeping track of such things back in 1884. It really was cool to have our first white Christmas. I’ve heard of such things from my friends but have never actually seen one until now.
Sister Zoe was totally fascinated by that white stuff falling from the sky. She just couldn’t quit watching it.
Sister Zoe was explaining to our holiday guest Hugo that this kind of weather is unusual for the south. Hugo was just a wee bit confused because he thought he was going to spend Christmas some place warm. But he seemed pretty excited to be here for the historic event.
We all had a wonderful Christmas and I’ll show you some more pictures from Christmas this week, but I just had to share the snow pictures with you.
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
cool!
Well being down da road from ya…WE GOT SNOW TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wasn't dat just da greatest thing evers! Oh My Girl was so excited.
It was like a miracle. Last one was '63 they said.

Holy cats! You had more snow than we did, Brian, and we're in southeastern Ontario! We hope it's all gone now. Hugo must have had a bit of a shock. 🙂
We did have fun playing in the snow. Bet Hugo is glad to be at your house during this cold snowy time. Hope you have a great week.
we got slammed with snow last night. and it is still snowing. There has already been a foot of snow here. It is crazy! I don't remember the last time I saw so much snow!
Very cold here, but no snow. It looks very pretty outside your window.
Your snow looks very pretty Brian -but please don't send us any of yours as we've had ours for over a week and we don't want any more!!
Awwww it snowed in time for Christmas!! That's just brilliant, Handsome Brian!! Yay!!
And yay that lovely Hugo was there to witness it too! Me and Charlie think adorable sister Zoe is such a sweetie for explaining to Hugo this historic event!
We are also saying a big hello to gorgeous Dolly, Gracie and Sascha! Take care
x
Zoe, just wait for the drippy sounds when the snow melts, that's pretty fascinating too. We had a White Christmas too!
Yes, isn't the snow lovely? and the best thing is it will be gone by Wed. at least in NC it will be and be 60 by Friday…now THAT'S weather to celebrate!
Brian, stay in and stay warm…tell Hugo to do the same!
Have fun watching the snow!
Your pal, Pip
Wow, that's the kind of snow we get here all the time, but we're supposed to get that in Canada!!! We're glad you had a white Christmas and we're sure Hugo enjoyed it too!
Nice to have not only a white Christmas, but also an historical one! We (meaning the Mom Dad Sis and Audrey, not me) had snow too, but it was less unusual, though still not common here.
SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are sooooooooooooo lucky!!!!!!! We got tons of rain on Christmas Eve Day.
Love to all of you.
Glad you kitties got to see snow for Christmas! Trust Banjo and I… it gets 'old' fast… 🙂
xo Catherine & Banjo
That's a whole lotta snow!! Enjoy it while it's there!!
Brian… your snow is beautiful, but… brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr… I'm glad to look at pictures, but am not interested in setting any records down here in Florida. Stay warm, pal.
pawhugs, Max
WE had a white Christmas too, the first in 13 years. It was like a movie all snowy and white.
We heard on the radio that there are four states that do Not have snow!
Happy Mancat Monday to you!
~ Timothy
In Central America we didn't got snow of course, but we got this phenomenon thing that makes the wind go faster and we get blackouts all the time, and it's cold! (I guess it's colder in the U.S but we're not used to it) D:
Have a nice day in the snow!
What a pretty view nature provided for your kitties! Snow!!!
Brian, your snow is beautiful and what a surprise for Christmas! We have been dry in the Denver area but the mountains have quite a bit of snow which is good for the skiers. Have fun playing with Hugo.
Shawn
The best part of snow is sitting in front of the fire place inside while it happens outside…
We had a wet Christmas! It rained, no snow!
Hi Brian the cat
I hope you and your human family had a Wonderful Christmas celebration.
Happy New Year from Southern California. No snow here but a lot of flooding and record breaking rain! 🙁
~Ron, the human 🙂

Your snow looks pretty. The weather has gone crazy this winter. We always used to say it is very rare for us to get snow here, but now we have had it three years in a row.
Beautiful white Christmas! Lucky Hugo to be there for the occasion. Hope it hasn't disrupted things too much. Have a great week!
Pip, Smidgen, Minnie, and Hollie
How magical to have a white Christmas! Looks like everyone enjoyed it, and glad that Hugo was there to see the magical snow as well 🙂
Holy Hippo History, Brian! You really DID get a lot of snow! Did anyone make a snowman for you?
I bet Hugo did not expect to see snow during his visit!
That's a lot of snow, especially for the South! Be sure to stay warm and safe. 🙂
Seasons Greetings!!!!
That snow is amazing for SC!!!!
It is something we are more used to seeing, except for this year!
We did not get snow until last night, and then it rained.
We are happy your Christmas was good and that Hugo got to share it with you!!!!

Our Mom has been furry derelict in her duties as cat interpretator and we are mad as wet kittens. She has ignored us too long, we are taking aim and making her sit and help us blog. We are so glad you had such a glorious celebration! We did too.
WOW you got some great white stuff to check out! *woo Hoo*

I'm happy for you! But BRRRRRRR!
A white Christmas would be lovely!
Brian, we are happy to hear that you got some snow too!! It is beautiful when it's coming down but very cold to sit in!! Lots of love, Holly and mom
Hi Brian and Everyone! Wow, we are so gosh darn behind we didn't even realize that Hugo had gotten there yet (bad mom!) We think it is cool he was there with you for Christmas and that he got to enjoy some snow – he is from Chicago after all! Thanks for showing him such a wonderful time!!
Hee…hee..hee…Your third photo, look like you sit on the snow and look out to watch the snow ( your blanky look like a pile of snow )
And it's lovely to hear you and Hugo have a great time : )
Glad you had a nice christmas!!! Wow your snow sure looks pretty, I'm sure it will melt in no time. Enjoy it while it lasts 🙂
Brrr, snow. Looks cold to us but kinda fun too.
How exciting, Mr. Brian! We had one last year and our mom had to stay home with us instead of abandoning us to visit her family. And it was a lot of snow, so she didn't even leave to go do anything! This year we haven't had ANY snows though. Stay warm!
We had snow here in Georgea, too! It was a White Christmas. It began snowing on 25th and was all white on 26. I can see Sister Zoe is so excited by the snow. Hugo, too 🙂
Snow must have been a pretty amazing sight for you all to behold! Especially Hugo! Your Chirstmas sounds like it was perfect!
Guess what? You won a surprise present in my 2,000th Post/ 6th Barkday Celebration drawing! Please email me you address so we can get it out to you…hope you like it! sehi-smith@aol.com
Stay toasty!!
Keep warm kitties.
Must be nice to watch all that white from the warmth of your cosy home!
Wow – snow!! Make sure you stay toasty warm inside. I hate when snow melts and you sink…..
Thanks for all your comments throughout the year – they make me smile! oooxxx
Snow is a great event! Here, in Canary Islands, only it snows in the highest summits.
Beautifurrr pictures.
Purrrrs.
