Twofur Thursday

Okay, it’s the night before the night before and Sister Gracie is getting so confused. Every morning for the last couple of days she gets up and looks to see if Santa has been here. I’ve tried to explain to her that it’s too early, but she insists he should have been here by now. Does she listen, nope! She even goes under the Christmas tree to investigate. I’ve taken her to the kitchen to look at the big calendar that hangs on the side of the refrigerator. Nope, she’s not listening. But I think I finally got through to her. I asked her if she remembered what I did every Christmas eve. Believe it or not she did remember that I read her and my other sisters a very special story on Christmas eve. So I reminded her that the night after I read that story is the night Santa arrives. Bingo, she got it. No Gracie, I’m not reading you that story tonight, tomorrow night dear Sis.

Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Very soon now — not much longer for Gracie to wait at all. 🙂

A very merry Christmas to you all; we hope you have a joy-full holiday!

  4. Catherine

It is very hard to wait for Christmas ~ especially when it is on the weekend ~ as we know how long a normal weekend takes to get here! 🙂

    Two more sleeps!

Only 2 more sleeps till Santa Paws!
We love to remember Christmas's past when we had little ones opening gifts, and our pets do love their gifts (they have more parcels under the tree than we do!)

  6. Marg

It won't be long now. Santa is getting all the toys ready and getting the reindeer all hooked up. Hang in there you two. Have a wonderful day.

  7. Max the Quilt Cat

It's good they have you around to help them with the timing. Otherwise they would think that Santa forgot them, and we all know he won't do that.

    pawhugs, Max

  8. The Taylor CatSSSSS

It won't be long before Santa comes! We hope that you have the merriest and happiest of holidays!

    Poor Gracie,
I assume excitement does that to you and messes with your time frames. Hang in there Gracie, it will come sooner than you know! In the meantime, have a little catnip and get plenty of rest before the big day!
    hugs to you all!

Maybe this is what would happen if the apartment was all decorated and ready for Christmas.

  18. Amy and The House of Cats

Hi Brian! We are having the same problem here with Gus and Stella – they are little and don't understand yet. We think it is good that you have the story to indicate it is time for Santa – but it is funny that she didn't say "if you read it sooner will he come sooner" – we wonder if that would actually work!

  19. Mickey,Georgia , Tillie

    Heeheehee!!! Poor Gracie 😉
    Story time sounds good 🙂

You're such a good brofur~!!! And Happy (blated) Gotcha Day~!!! Meowy Chrismouse furriends!

  25. Spitty-the-Kitty

That's a really good way to help your sister tell time. The Human should do more of that with me because when she says she's leaving Friday and coming back Sunday that really means nothing to me. You know?

  26. Maya

    Merry Christmas Brian!
And to all your sisters too 🙂
We understand why Gracie may be a little confused, Harley is super excited and he looks under (and up) the tree every day to make sure there are no presents hiding from him. Now he is even more confused because my brother and sister put some presents under the tree yesterday to be opened on Christmas morning. He thought Santa had come early and forgotten to leave him anything! Silly kitten.

We just saw your Gotcha Day post and would like to say that you were a very beautiful kitten. We are so glad that you have found such a nice forever home xx
