Don’t you just love getting mail? It is fun, especially when you don’t know what you’re getting! Not all that long ago our very sweet friends over at White Dog Diary Online celebrated their 2000th Post and 6th Birthday. They were having commentathon and raising money for Canine Cancer Research. If you don’t know them, you need to go visit the White Dogs with the best hearts ever.
Anyways, I got my surprise in the mail…
How cool! Treat Machine Rollers! Dad wasn’t sure I’d know what to do with them, but I knew exactly what to do. Once Dad put one of them together and loaded a few treats in there…
Now that’s what I call fun, and a reward too!

Wow! Very cool, Brian! I've never seen them before either, but I have seen a TV show where they do this same kind of thing for the big cats in the zoo. Apparently, it's called enrichment, because the cat has to work hard for the treat — and it's good for the brain as well as the tummy!
We've got some treat toys but nothing like those!! We bet they are fun!!

Oh, Brian, what a COOL toy! We've never seen anything like it, but we know it must be very, very good because you are holding and tasting — a real sign of quality!
Mom brought us a crinkly tunnel last night. That thing is scary as the devil! I think it's going to murder us if we try to run through it, so it's just sitting there…..waiting. We hope Mom is going to pack it up and make it LEAVE!

How cool is that?? Our mom bought a case of wet food (maybe 9 Lives, she forgot) because it had a treat ball in it. She gave the food to the shelter but took the toy (hehe). Thing is, it was a huge flop. We were not going to play with a toy on the chance a treat would fall out!

We think that is a neat surprise! We have the ball that you put treats in. We are in our golden years so we just stare at the ball and then at mama. She usually gives in and shakes a few treats out for us. 🙂

I've seen plastic versions of these, but I like the idea of cardboard ones so much better – not only are they biodegradable, they look like fun to chew on too!
