Hugo had gotten all rested up from the busy holiday weekend and was ready to do something, anything! Sister Gracie, on the other paw, was still tired and wanted to get in some more snoozing time. What’s a hippo to do? Hugo just decided it was easier to rest a while with Sister Gracie and maybe she would be up to doing something else a bit later.
One of the things we found out about Hugo is that he doesn’t require much down time. He is always curious and interested in learning about new things. Hugo did say that in all his travels this was the first time he had a date. Hugo and Henrietta decided that they will keep in touch and maybe they will meet again some day. Hugo said that he really understands why I always say “adopt cats, we deserve it”, and he told me he would help spread the word too.
It seems Hugo himself never sleeps! Perhaps he can learn about good naps form you guys.

I always thought Hugo was great, but now I am possitive. I love that he is going to spread the word about adopting cats… You all deserve it! I really hope Hugo and Henrietta stay in touch. They make a very cute couple!

Well, let's face it — Hugo doesn't expend as much energy as cats do. He's always being hauled around by someone, or being put down someplace to rest.
Gracie, on the other paw, really needs to recharge herself. Kookiness requires some quiet time.

Thank you for sending healing energy to my sister, Puff.
