It sure has been a busy week, at least it seemed that way. But Friday is here…and the weekend is close behind. Today T.G.I.F. means The Girls Is Fighting!
Well, they’re not really fighting, just a friendly little whapping session over who gets to play with one of the toys. You see, Zoe fancies herself the keeper of the toys, and not only does she know when one is missing, she knows when one is out of place. Sister Dolly was wanting to play with the yellow fishy, but it looks like Sister Zoe wasn’t finished with it yet. Oh well, that’s the way it goes sometimes.
So, do you have any exciting weekend plans? We’re going to get our claws clipped and then we are going to work on a special post for Monday.
Please join us for a special topic if you can. After my post last week about helping shelters out during the cold weather, my friend Kika thought it would be a good idea for all of us to do a post about the importance of helping shelters. Not only has the winter been harsh in some areas of the United States, but the flooding in Australia and the landslides in Brazil, along with other regional issues, makes this a very timely topic. So if you would, on Monday, January 24th, please remind your readers of the importance of helping out your local shelters. I know lots of you do this, but a gentle reminder to those that read your blog sure might help. The little things all add up!
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Great idea to blog about shelters on Monday. I'm in. Especially since HH just adopted the boys from the local shelter. We're all for helping the shelters.
Have a great weekend.
pawhugs, Max
I love watching the cats in playful fights….your girls are no exception.
Have a good weekend kitties!

Da paw clipping is fun…especially when you gets all the special treats after its over.
That is a super idea about reminding people about shelters and the help that they need. We sure will participate. Thanks for the idea. Hope you have a super week end. Take care.

Oh, oh … maybe some corner time is in order.
Shelters do the most amazing work with kitties and doggies and little furries too.
Great idea! i will post something on Monday!
Your pal, Pip
We purr that y'all will have a fantastic weekend.

Silly kitties!!
Shelters are a major factor for so many of our anipals out there–both Toby and I came from one, so we know. Where would we be without them!
It doesn't get much better than a good ol' fashioned whapping session! 🙂
Thanks for working on that great shelter awareness idea for Monday's post!
We're not sure which sister we're siding with in the feud! But it sure looks like there are enough toys to go around, so there is really no need to fight! We'll do our best to get our mom to post on Monday, since she actually volunteers for our shelter, but she can be pretty worthless sometimes.
Yep – sibling whapping…we are all about it. And we will make sure to post on Monday about helping out local shelters….we are all about that too!!
Oh I think we can do that on Monday WOO HOO!
We will do that on Monday! Thanks for letting me Know!

The whapping here starts off fun but sometimes it gets a little un-fun.
Even though the weather is nice here now, one of our local shelters had some problems with our recent way-heavier-than-normal rainfall. So maybe I will write about that on Monday.
Great idea for a Monday blog! Thanks 🙂
That's a wonderful idea to help the shelters! Love the pictures of you two playing!! Have a great weekend! Lots of love, Holly and mom

Zoe and Dolly, you are just too darn cute! We lurve our toy box, too. Sam takes his special mice out every morning and takes them downstairs. Then at the end of the day, he picks them up and takes them back upstairs. Sometimes they make it into the box and other times "almost" make it.

They say girls just want to have fun.
Whats more fun than giving love smacks to your sister.
Purrs.

Love ShelterAware 🙂 what a fantastic idea. Actually I am featuring a shelter next week for our commentathon. I have raised a small amount of money and I don't want to wait any more so i am going to round up the number and write up something about a fantastic shelter. Also, I will continue to encourage people to help out local shelters through our rescue stories. Thank you so much for your message. Have a wonderful weekend!
Great idea to blog about shelters on Monday with all those things you mentioned plus the bad economy, there is a lot of need! We will add our voice. Have a wonderful weekend!
My kitty sisters like to do that to. Sometimes they do it to me to if I stick my nose to close.
Most of our whappin sessions start over a toy (well, or a bag or dinnertime). We are plannin some more fun with Hugo this weekend!
I'm on it Brain, Never forgot Next Monday ! If it happen I will sack my mom : )
Brian thanks for the great post and the great idea!! OMC I hope i remember because I have a book review planned for Monday!! I will try and post at least a sentence on Monday (I hope!)….if I forget I am sure when I make the blog rounds I will remember and I can edit it!

Ooooooh, a girlcat-catfight! Mrrrrrow.
A little smacky paws between sisters is always fun!
We love smacky paws games! The shelter thing is a good idea.
Whapping is fun. We usually do it when one of us has the sun puddle the other one wants.
Shelter Aware Day is a good idea.
