Mancat Monday

Brrrrrrrrrr!  What happened, we went from temperatures in the 80s with lots of window whiff to temperatures in the 50s.  As you can see, I decided to make the best of it and keep warm under the blankie.  I’ll just have to wait for the warms to come back, but in the meantime I’m quite comfy right here.

We did have a very busy weekend, how about you?  And here I thought that weekends were supposed to be easy time.  HA! It sure didn’t work out that way this weekend.  Oh well, at least we managed to get everything done and we even found time for a nap or two!

Hey, my friend Hillary, and her handsome ManCat Alex (Alex is Sister Graice’s boyfriend) from Feeling Beachie awarded me and Sister Gracie the Cherry on Top Award!

Thanks so much to Hillary and Alex, Sister Gracie and I sure do appreciate you thinking of us!

I know I’ve mentioned this before, but every Friday, Hillary at Feeling Beachie has a fun Blog Hop.  It’s called Follow Friday Four Fill-in Fun.

Each Friday she has four fill-in the blank questions, and not only are they clever, they are fun too.  Here’s two from last Friday…

1. I have got to be the worst _____ in the world.

2. Although for the most part I love it, sometimes I wish I could just get rid of my_____.

Now who couldn’t have fun with questions like that?  So give her a visit and purrticipate in the Friday Hop!

That’s pretty much it for today, but remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Alex and I want to thank you and Gracie for the great shout out this AM… Alex said he will be texting Gracie soon so he can make plans to thank her personally! I hear you about the weather.. It was 75 here on Friday, and then back to the 40's on Sat & Sunday. The only good part was Alex & I liked hanging by the fire at night… Stay warm!

  5. Marg

Hi Brian, you sure look handsome under that blanket. It was chilly here this week end. Supposed to be warm tomorrow though. Great picture. Hope you have a great week.

  6. Sweet Praline

I know what you are talking about with the weather this week! Toasty one minute and freezing the next.

  7. Link Bartholomew

Aww Brian, you sure are resourceful getting under the blanket like that. Not to mention, you're a handsome mancat!

  8. Catherine

That fuzzy blanket would be a wonderful place to stay today ~ we have heavy snowfall warnings out!

    Will spring every get here?
    xo Catherine

  9. Admiral Hestorb

I like under my bankie like that too..but the best heat source is my mom. She can't move when I'm curled on her lap! I love it!

  10. Kea

    Concats on the award, Brian!

It's barely above freezing here, with rain/wet snow, so we think your idea of snuggling under a blanket is a good one!

    Happy Monday!

  11. Hannah and Lucy

Brian – you snuggle under your blankie until the weather warms up again. Perhaps the warms will come back soon.

I says weekends are for snoozin' and staying under warm blankies…so you did good!

  13. Penny

We worked hard all weekend, too. But now I'm ready for some nap time.

You stay warm under that blanket now – cuz you never know what kind of weather Mother Nature will throw at us next.

The weather here is still rather balmy – but we have been told to expect more snow by mid week.

  14. Mumsy, Chancy and Co.

You look all sweet and cozy under your blankie. Congrats on the award. Since your weekend was so busy maybe your week will be one for taking it easy. Hugs and nose kisses

  15. Clarissa

We are sorry your warm temperatures went away! It's quite warm in our neck of the woods for now and we are loving it! Concatulations on your blog award! That is fantastic.

  16. Sammy, Andy and Shelly

Oh, oh, OH!!!!!!!!! Please send us some of that 50's weather. We're already tired of hearing our a/c run and not having our balcony door open all the time…..sigh.

    We send y'all our love.

  17. The Cat From Hell

Under the balnkets is where me likes to sleep. Me even crawls up under them when the bed is made!
    Yous looks great Brian!

Ohhh, that blankie looks so cozy. We's got some rain and cold weather too and we love to curl up. And congratulations about your reward, you deserve it. And we're purring with happiness. We love blog hops and want to join along with the Friday one.

    Purrs to you,

  20. OKcats

We were in the 80s also, and we have to admit, that's almost too warm for us! Although, with the windows open, it was pretty nice. Any hotter, though, and the AC will have to come on. We hope ya'll warm back up!

  21. Cathy Keisha

After window whiffies this week it's cold and rainy today and we expect snow this week. I like your blankie. Stay warm and BTW, belated Happy Birthday to your Mom.

  22. Sparkle

It's been wacky here too – we HAD perfect spring weather, but now it's raining and will be for most of the week. Feh.

  23. Peggy Frezon

Congrats on that cherry award. I'm going to go hide under a blankie now, it's cold here!

  24. The Misadventures Of Me

We know what yoo mean, we had fresh air seats one day to the heater box on again. AND its snowing today!! Dat ground hog did a terrible job in predicting the end of winter we fink.

  25. Zig et Zag

It turned chilly here too, Zig was right to try on the t-shirt!!

    Congratulations on the award!

  29. Simba

We had freakin SNOW this morning!

Those questions are fun. I wonder if Mom would fill in the second one with cat. I hope not.

  30. ABBY

You look as if someone just woke you up from sleeping so cozy under your blankie! Our weather is still in the 80's and I suspect that is where it will stay. Mom and Dad did some gardening this weekend.Boy did they look funny.

  31. The Island Cats

Brian, we hope you get your 80s back soon…we hope we get some warmer weather too!!

    Congrats on that cool award!!

  32. Cat Chat With Caren And Cody

50 degrees? I'll take it! that is what we had today. Starting tomorrow the bottom falls out….AGAIN….we have a winter storm warning tomorrow night (yes I KNOW it is Spring, "technically")….it will be in the 30s for the next 2 weeks….I repeat, I'll take the 50s!!
    Concatulations on your award!

  33. Eric and Flynn

Concats on your award! We are getting warm sunny weather here so we don't need our blankies for snuggling in. We hope you keep warm in yours.

  34. Siku Marie, White Dog

On chilly days it is nice to curl up in the blankies and listen as momma reads to us! Stay warm, we are sending windy days your way!

  35. Cara n Crew

Concats on the award, Brian! We hope you have a restful week to recover from the weekend…and to get ready for the next!

    Pip, Smidgen, Minnie, and Hollie

  36. Spitty-the-Kitty

Concats on your awardie. That looks like a nice soft blanket, but I do not myself like being covered up with things because I usually think it might eat me.

  37. CindyLu's Muse

Wow! An award from Hillary? You rate, boy! And you sure look comfy there. We're all cuddled up here today, too – it got coooold!

  38. caspersmom

You sure do look comfy there Brian, keeping warm. Congratulations on your awards. I think we had a busy weekend, especially Sunday keeping an eye on that river. We would like to thank you very much for your purrs and prayers for Patches and rising river. With all the prayers they both turned out on the positive side. Again Thank You.

    Casper, Patches too.

  39. Roy

Blankets and cold weather go together. Seems so do the kitty cats. Mine are quick to do the submarine dive under their blankies, my blankies, the Small One's blankies ….. anything warm is fair game.

Oh, and you looking good under yours Brian. Stay warm little buddy!

    Laters …..

  40. chezcat1970

We keep bouncing from warm to cold here in Wisconsin, too, so we can sympathize! Those are fun questions!
