My friend Bunny Jean Cook reminded us the other day that April is ASPCA Prevention of Cruelty to Animal’s Month. That sure is important and thanks to my pal Bunny Jean Cook for making sure this one didn’t slip past us.
The ASPCA signed their Charter back in 1866, so this is their 145th Anniversary. You can show your support by helping increase awareness of cruelty to animals. Most of you know that my first home didn’t work out too well and they were very mean to me and kicked me. So this topic is very near and dear to my heart.
You can check out the ASPCA Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Website and take the pledge to raise awareness and to help out in your local community as well.
Oh yes, if you don’t know my friend Bunny Jean Cook, you should visit her and say hello. She is a super wonderful activist for all of us critters!!!
Unfortunately we’ve run into a delay of game with getting sweet Faith to her new home. I’m told it couldn’t be help since the foster had a death in the family and had to leave. Oh, not to worry, he has her boarded at a local vet so she will be well cared for. So now, the current plan is for this coming Saturday, April 9th, but honestly, the communication with the lady in charge of her is horrible, on a good day, but we’re dealing with it. Her new Mom just wants her to get there, and so do I, so do it. Hang in there sweet Faith, we’re working on it.
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Thanks Bunny Jean Cook reminded Brain, and Thanks Brain reminded us : )
I will stay tune for this event
xoxo

As long as the end result is a Happily Every After" end, the delay is worth the wait.
We hope that there is a happily ever after

We are so worried about Miss Faith and we are continuing to purr for her safe placement in a forever home.
We believe that EVERY day should be prevention of cruelty to animals. WE cannot understand anyone hurting any animal.

Our family is getting SO impatient for our new kitty to come to us! MomKatt was very disappointed it couldn't be this weekend but some things just cannot be gotten around. She is going to call the lady coordinating the pick up again today & hopes she can link up then. She needs to firm up plans!
MomKatt here. We WILL have a FB page for Faith (whose name will be changed, so stay tuned!)

Yes, we think, too that prevention of cruelty to animals is something that should be foremost in people's minds all year long.
And we're so happy that Faith has a new furever home to go to, even if it's taking a while for her to get there. Her new family seems quite anxious to have her — which is a great thing. It will happen.
Thanks Brian and Bunny Jean. I had told Bunny Jean I was going to blog about it last Saturday…well….that never happened…….glad everyone is spreading the word
Thanks for the information!
I hope Faith is soon in her forever home!
Thanks for the reminder, Brian!! And we hope Faith gets to her new home real soon!

That sure is a good photo to remind people of how important that issue is.
Can't wait to hear about her all in her new home. 🙂
We are SO at your side during this important month! Thanks for getting the word out about Preventing Cruelty to Animals… the more who are aware, the better the chances of saving a life or keeping a furfriend from harm!
Waiting is the worst! We so want Faith to get to her forever family and start living the life she deserves. Sending White Dog positive energy that the Plan happens this weekend.
Prevention of Cruelty to Animals – I'm all for that – no animal deserves to be treated badly. Thanks for reminding us Brian.
Purring that this is the last setback for poor Faith.
Purrs,
Genghis
Thanks for the update on Faith – I hope she gets to her new home soon! And I'm off to visit Bunny Jean – thanks for the link.
I guess Faith needs a little more Patience, but I have faith it will all work out.
Good luck, Faith…
Purrrrs and our best wishes.
A very important month!
Every day should be anti cruelty day, and in our house every day is Serve Your Cat Day.
Thanks for your nice wishes today. I am home safe and sound, but a little sore. Unfortunately, they did have to extract one of my back molars – ouch!
Your pal, Pip
Thanks for the good reminder. And say, you didn't last very long on the good green bench!
We have faith all will work out for Faith!
Thanks for the reminder, Brian, and for keeping us updated on Faith. I'm so glad that she found a home. 🙂
Sim Brian !infelismente há pessoas com muitos maus sentimentos que tratam nos muito mal e nos chamam animais mas eles é que são animais quando nos tratam mal!

thanks for the reminder, Brian, and we're so glad that Faith was adopted!
thanks for the information – it's good to learn about people helping abused animals – thankfully there are people who want to love these hurting creatures.
For other folks reading this, check out my blog. There are some interesting stories there. I manage a homeless cat colony and a few foster cats.
