Today my pal Alfie Marshall is having his Shabby Chic Day. This is a special day where Anipals everywhere get to show off their decorating and interior design skills, home improvement tips or just how you help around the house. I must admit, I am not that creative when it comes to home improvement since I’m really not much with building things. I also must admit that my interior design skills are somewhat limited.
However, not to be totally left out of this special day I did try my paw at an important and useful interior decorating idea a while back. While I thought the end result was pretty good, it seems as though I was the only one that liked it.
I sharpened the claws and gave Creative Fringing a whirl. You know what I mean, sometimes there is a piece that would look much more attractive with some added Fringe.
Oh well, I thought it turned out great. For now, when it comes to Creative Fringing my paws are idle.
Anyways, I look forward to seeing the other ideas today. And remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Ok Brian, now that is silly. (Grin) Have a lovely Monday.
Kat
I really like your name for that design/decorating technique. I bet your human really loves the effect.
Ha..Ha..Ha.. Brain, That's super super touched of Artistic….hee..hee..hee
I call " Abstract Style "..Very Valuable !… Should open exhibition : )
xoxo
Hi Brian, I think your creative fringing was pawsome. ~Scylla
Good job Brian. We really like that fringe. We have lots of fringe on our chairs. Mom forgot to put that on the post today.
Thanks for the BG plug. She is such a nice cat.
Have a great day.
Good job! Alex's specialty is fashion. He likes to take one of Marc's plain shirts and add some flair to it by adding litte holes.
You're a fabulous fiber artist, Brian! We could use your talented claws over here.
Yep… creative fringing is frowned upon over here. You're a brave one to try it..
pawhugs, Max
You did a fantastic job pal. Good job.
Banjo is very good at decorating with his fur coat… I find it everywhere. And even though he only has his back claws, he still manages to make a few fringes here and there! 🙂
Happy Monday kitties!
xo Catherine
Your fringing is very artistic Brian we can't understand why it wasn't well received.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Beautiful Brian!!! That is one stylish fringeing!! Wow!! You make that piece of shabby chic furniture so desirable! Me and Charlie want one now!!:-)
We are also waving a big hello to your adorable sisters Zoe, Gracie, Sascha and Dolly!! Take care
x
We think that was an excellent decorating technique, Brian. We can't understand why it wasn't lauded by your beans, either! Well done, we say!

You have a good eye for noticing how boring some furniture can be. A bit of fringe adds much needed interest.
Nice work!
Brian, we LOVE yoor creative fringing. Yoo are very talented!
That looks awesome, Brian! You definitely have a creative paw!
Brian, that is so cute! Creative fringing!!! Great job!! Lots of love, Holly and mom
Fringing – we never thought of that one – good one Brian!
Oh Brian, you are a creative designer…how clever to come up with this fringing idea 🙂 My boys each have their own talents, Gambino thinks couches look better when they're slightly shred, Mishka thinks the carpets on the stairs need some shredding, and Bailey Bear says "Everything looks better from a different angle" and therefore knocks over all objects that he can find 🙂
Our kittehs did a little "creative fringing" a while back and Mom went to leather (in the decorating sense). They also thought the effect was something to behold!!
I think you are doing an excellent job!
Creative Fringing…..we like it! We will have to use that next time Meowm thinks we are scratching things!
Brian you show lots of potential as a creative fringer – you should go back to it!
Oh yes! You did great on the creative fringing we think!
Luf, Us
Your creative fringing is kinda nice looking if you ask mee…..butt, I I did dat, I would be in da DOGHOUSE for sures.
I think your creative fringing is brilliant.. Hugs GJ xx
Excellent Brian!
We love to pull out Mom's carpet fibers on the rug in the dining room. It drives Mom crazy!

Abby
Wow! You really are artistic, Brian! Alfie chewed the fringe off a rug, but here you are creating a new one on the sofa!
Well done, I say!
By the way, Sister Zoe's on the LOLSpot, but you are the subject. Let me apologize now for what I have done.
I bet you needed a rest after all that !!

OH yes…Creative Fringing. I think my mom has seen some of my best work!!! BUT she covered my favorite projects with some tough cloth and I can't fringe any more!!!
xox
Creative fringing..amazing! Mr. Cecil, and Miss Chloe, do not have your artistic ability because Mom put sticky tape on the chairs when they were babies and they did not like it. You know, she is not very much fun.
good job. we know several things that nee fringe
OMC! Too funny. Iz generally keep my decorating technique to furizing ever surface moving or not moving with in a 3 foot radius. As with your fringing, I'm still waiting for the style to catch on.
Oh this is fun! Brian, I think you did a great job!!
hehe..that is some great work. 🙂
Good job, Brian. You did good work.
Brian….I think they made a video on uTube of you????

Nice work! I wish I had known about this – I have lots of decorating tips! BOL!
Your pal, Pip
We like your fringing technique, Brian! We're gonna go try that ourselves!!
Fringe is hot this year!!!
Lovely work!! Lovely!
Brian, your fringing technique definitely adds to the uniqueness of that chair! Do you give lessons?
Looks like you're really working hard on that creative fringing!
Brian, that's precisely the interior decorating tip I've been trying to convince Marmie would really add some character to her apartment. She is still unimpressed.
Brian, fantastic technique there, sir! Agreed, fringe is all the rage!
"creative fringing" I love it!
That's not bad, Brian, but here's a tip for the future: That kind of decorating looks waaaaaaaay better on a solid color. The print hides too much of our artwork!
Creative fringing – that's pretty cool. Wish I could do some of that – but Pellie would shoot me with the water bottle if I tried.
Purrs,
Genghis
Hey Brian..love your work. Your so creative.
Have a great week!!
