T.G.I.F. Thank Goodness (Vet Report)

Brian's Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!

So, there I was minding my own business yesterday having my early morning window whiff when Dad scooped me up and into the PTU I went.  Off to the vet!  I thought I was doing much better.  What’s up with that???  Anyways, turns out I had to go in for a urinanalysis to make sure there were no crystals in my pee.  That sounds kind of silly to me.  But, I passed the test and the nice vet said I am A-O-K.

So today, T.G.I.F. means Thank Goodness I’m Fine!!!!!!!

Now maybe I won’t have to worry about that for a while.  The vet said again I am still about 2 pounds over weight.  But I told him, you should see my Sister Gracie (sorry Sis).  Actually they bragged on about how lovey I was, and they were awfully nice to me.

So what’s up with you this weekend?  I can tell you I’m not planning on doing much except resting up from this ordeal.  After all, I think I’ve earned a nice calm weekend!  Whatever you do, have fun and be safe.

Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

That’s fantastic news Brian. I hope those nasty crystals stay away. Being a cat of a certain girth, I know how hard it is to shift the weight. My sister, Wee Heidi and our foster kitty Sharon and very slim, but I need to lose a couple of pounds. However I’m definitely not as fat as that poor dog in Australia https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccSJkT23i0Q

Brian, I am beyond thrilled to hear of your good health report!

Still, I cannot help but say, Aren’t you just the tiniest bit embarrassed that the v-e-t people call you a “lovey” cat?

I mean, how ManCatly is THAT??? I’m afraid you’re going to have to get some tattoos or buy a Harley to overcome this, Bro. Come on over and have a brewski with me. We’ll talk.

Brian, they took you to the vet? Please tell me you sang opera all the way, then tenderised the people’s face with your claws upon your release from the dreaded PTU!

YAY for the good news at the vet. What’s with the vets anyway – they told me I was about 2 pounds overweight too. I think their scale is wrong myself.

  19. Simba

That is very good news about your urinalysis, Brian. I hope your antibioitc does the full trick and you stay infection free.

  20. Ann Best

How lovely you are, Brian! And I’m so glad to hear that you’re now doing well. Thanks for always stopping by to see me and my daughter. We love to see your handsome face!!

  21. Fuzzy and Zoe

That’s super news, Mr. Brian!!! But that was a little bit uncool to throw Miss Gracie under the bus like that!!!! But, it was also uncool for the vet to call you overweight. But, at least the test results were cool!!!! You have a great weekend!

  22. Mumsy and Chancy

Oh, sweet Brian we are so happy to hear that good report. You are looking mighty handsome as always too. Great picture of you getting some snoozin’ time. Hugs and nose kisses

  23. Athena

That is a great v-e-t report, Brian! I am a little overweight myself. Mom is not sure how she is going to get weight off of me at the same time she gets it on Kit.

  24. GreatGranny

Handsome Brian, I’m happy to know you’re OK. You sure look cute snoozing.
    xoxo Kassey

  25. Sparkle

Paws up for a great report from the vet! And thanks much for stopping by my birthday party! I bet you needed that tuna julep after having that urinalysis!

  26. CCL Wendy

I’m so happy that you are A-OK, Brian! I know those crystals can be very annoying and painful.

I wouldn’t worry about the 2 lbs. You look PURRfect to me — that vet doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

So now you can get back to business as usual. Yay!
