I must admit, I really don’t understand how the calendar works, at least I don’t understand it all of the time. We just had a long holiday weekend here in the United States, so why is it that long weekends are too short and short weeks are too long? In any event, we did finally make it to Friday, today T.G.I.F. means They’re Great, In Fact!
So what am I talking about? Most of you might know my friend Stacy Hurt from On a More Personal Note and if you don’t, you really should go meet her. Stacy makes the best ever Catnip Quilts. Seriously, they’re incredible! When ours arrived I could hardly wait to check it out and it came with my name on it and it says “Brian the strong”!!!
Let me say that these things are whiffin good. I gave it a good rolling on for quite a while too.
Oh my, oh my, my spotted belly was just so happy. I just had to tell my sisters what I got, I thought they might like it too!
Sure enough, Sister Gracie was a hoot. Here she is trying to explain to Sister Dolly that she must, must, must wait her turn.
I did the only thing a generous brother could do, I parked myself up on my throne and watched as Sisters Gracie, Zoe and Dolly had the best time rolling and whiffin! Sister Sascha was too busy looking out the back door and Sister Precious was up in her private room. I’m sure they will both enjoy it too.
So what do you have planned this weekend? Hey, we live in the South and the humans are still shooting off fireworks down here. I’m hoping for a claw trimming, mine are getting a bit long. Whatever you do, have fun and be safe, and remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
That catnip quilt looks like it is going to be very very popular around your house!
Us humans have been trying to figure out how the short/long of the week works too Brian. If you come up with an answer ~ please let us know!
Have a good weekend!
xo Catherine
What an awesome quilt! It’s gonna get quite the workout, we see!
Very cool. Mom likes that last picture of everyone!!! Purrs to Precious too. We are taking it easy this weekend….unless mom brings over the kid again.
Nice quilt! Is that one quilt or 2 or is the back of it striped? So nice of you to let the sisters use it. You’re such a good bro. Love your throne. It looks like a director’s chair.
What a fabulous quilt! We know she makes them, have tried to convince our mom to get us one…or two. Maybe someday! Enjoy yours!
Happy Friday, and we purr you have a grand weekend, sweet friends.
No fireworks here this year, cuz they were totally banned due to the drought we are in.

I love how you guys all took turns. You are all so cute! As for our weekend, we are looking forward to spending quality time in Alex’s “recovery room” so he can have some much needed cone free time. It has been hard going to work this week for both of us. Good thing we have the Alex cam on the entire time!
Oh yeah! That looks like fun. I think I need to pick one up for my cats…
