A good while ago I was “Hatted” by the wonderful and talented Mom Judi, from SAS…Sammy, Andy and Shelly along with 4 of my sisters. The “hatted” pictures are totally wonderful and unique to each pet. My “hatted” picture has become my primary profile picture just about everywhere.
Think about it for a minute, how many of you have been “hatted” as well??? Lots of you know doubt. You also probably know that the SAS household is having a major crisis.
So here’s the deal. Our friend Kristin, who helps our pal Mr. Pip, from Pip Gets Back In the Game is organizing a “Hat Day” Comment-a-Thon for SAS. We are inviting everyone who has been hatted by Miss Judi to post their hatted pictures on Wednesday, August 24th. Those who are willing and able could also host a comment-a-thon on their blog that day – each blogger would decide the amount that works for them a quarter or a dollar per comment, whatever amount you are comfortable with. We know times are tough and not everyone will be able to afford to participate financially, so those who can’t host a comment-a-thon could still post their hatted pictures as a sign of support for SAS and maybe encourage their followers to make a donation. Please, please, please help us out with this event and lets help Mom Judi, Sam, Andy and Shelly.
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
My pawrents have some issue about participate financial. but we will support for SAS and encourage our friends to make a donation. Not a problem, I will do it ! Count me in !
Oh Brian, that is such a good idea and we sure will go over and thank Mr.Pip. We certainly will participate in that. I am so glad that you thought of this. She does need all the help she can get. We are getting an auction together but this is just the best idea. I will also help to let people know about it.
Hope you have a great day. It is a tiny bit cooler. Whoooo Hoooo. Take care.
Awwwwwwww what a lovely idea!! Yay!!!! Me and Charlie will post Charlie’s hatted pic on that day – cos mama Judi hatted Charlie so brilliantly and made us smile!! Yay!!

Brian! Thanks so much for helping spread the word! This is an absolutely wonderful post! Hats off, I mean on, to you!
Your pal, Pip
We will do it.
We think that’s a fabulous idea, Brian! We are purring and purring for SAS and their wonderful Mom Judi!
We’ve already made a donation directly to Mom Judi, so while we wouldn’t be able to do a comment-a-thon, we’ll try to remember to post our hatted pics!
We will post our hat pictures on that day if our mum remembers!! We have already made a donation to SAS and have offered an item for the auction.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
I’m in, Brian. I’ll host a comment-a-thon too. I haven’t asked HH but I’m sure it’s fine with her. We will donate $1.00 per comment…. Tell everyone to stop by on Wednesday… Thanks for getting the word out. I don’t have a hat picture, but we will be the “bare-headed comment-a-thon”.
Woot…
pawhugs, Max
What a wonderful idea! You’re so giving, Brian!
I don’t know Judi or Pip but it sounds like a wonderful idea. I’ll be doing a lot of commenting next Wednesday. I got my hat/bandana from the #WLF—Whiskers Liberation Front. Those are pretty hats your girls have on.
Count us in, Brian! Wally even said he’d consider giving up his weekly “What’s That Wally Doing? to do so!!

We haven’t been hatted yet either but will lend our support. We’ll start by sharing this post.
It’s wonderful and absolutely amazing to see how bloggers help each other out in times of need. It’s truly touching to read. Thank you for sharing, Brian. I don’t know SAS yet, but will go over right now to check them out.

That is a great idea, but we have a request. Please remind Mom the day before so she can create the post! She almost forgot Angel’s birthday!
Please remind us again closer, Brian. Great idea.
I think this is a great idea! As you know, I don’t do hats – either IRL or virtual – if I can possibly help it, but I think it would be fun to see everyone else’s. I hope there will be some master list of participants!
We’re in too!!!
The Florida Furkids and Angel Sniffie
It’s a lovely idea, Brian. We have already given a generous donation to SAS and hope with all the combined funds that they can pull through this crisis.

Comment-a-thon is a great idea to support friend and it must be fun to see all the hatted photos! I love your hatted photo very much. You look so cool!
This is what our community does best…help those in need! Of course, the White Dog Army will lend our support. We’ve already helped a bit and will take part in the auction and commentathons as well. Let us know if there is more we can do…if we all help just a little we can make a BIG difference.
I loved the hatting that Momma Judi did for me as it reflected my purrsonality so well. I will do all I can to help and check with Mom to see if I can also do a commentathon as well.
Mum and I will try to budget for this.
I have also never been hatted and I do my darndest to support everyone in the blogosphere who is having difficulty.
I will do my best to comment that day and I will also share 🙂
This is a wonderful idea Brian.
We haven’t been hatted but we will do our part to help paw-cipate. We also gave a direct donation to SAS and we are so happy to see such great compassion and help being offered to one of our own who has a very great need.

We don’t have hats either, but we’ll plan to make a comment.
Great idea, Brian! Mom just wrote herself a reminder note to post our hatted pictures that day. We have already made a donation to SAS and have offered items for the auction but will direct readers where to go to help out and bidding on the auction.
Well, I think I’ll have to hat myself, LOL, but I’ll be happy to be a part of having a commentathon on the 24th!
As usual your mom is helping someone out again. We are so sorry to hear this family is having problems. I pray they don’t lose their house.
We will visit the Auction. We hope we will be able to help out.
Have a great week Brian.
What a sweet idea. We’ve not been hatted, sigh, but we’re looking forward to all the pics.
So sorry to hear this news. You are a good and supportive friend. Love how the cat blogosphere comes together.
We don’t has any hats. But we’ll work on making comments, sure!
Great idea Brian! We hope that everything will work out well for SAS and Mama Judi, they are in our thoughts and prayers.
