We are also very sad about sweet little Beignet. If something positive can come form his short little life being cut so short, it will be more awareness about the risk posed by over vaccination. Mom is going to talk to our vet about it for us.
I am sad beyond words. How could such a beautiful little life be ended so soon? We are so sorry to hear.
Hugs & prayers,

Thank you for this post. I think I am still in shock, even though the tears haven’t stopped flowing. He’s with Sweet Praline now and I’m sure she’s taking excellent care of him. I hope some good comes from all of this and people can be more aware of VAS and talk to their vets about unnecessary vaccinations in cats.
Mom Paula
There is a lot of sadness in blogland this week. Warm hugs and thoughts. xo Catherine & Banjo
This is just the hardest heartbreak ever. Our thoughts and purrs go out to Mom Paula.
Oh, that is such a sad outcome.
Me and the Human are purring very hard for Mom Paula and all the others who loved sweet Beignet.
Mum is all wet eyed again now reading those lovely comments Brian – to lose a sweet boy like Beignet is so sad – his life ended before it had properly begun.

Yes, we are so sad as well. We have already visited and left our condolences. It seems almost too much to bear for Mom Paula.
I was sure that Beignet would pull through. Although his life was short, it was very happy, and I’m sure he’s just fine on the Bridge with Praline to look after him.
I saw this news late last night and visited Paula’s blog to leave my condolences. It is just a stunning turn of events, so unexpected that this little beauty wouldn’t make it! I am so very sad.
OMD–what a sad, sad thing to happen. Little Beignet was a beauty and we hope he’s happy, chasing and playing over the Bridge.
oh so sad… poor guy…..
I read about little Beignet last night and was very sad to know it was a routine vaccination that sent him to the Rainbow Bridge. It’s just shocking.
It’s more sad when a young beautiful life is cut short. We’re sending healing purrs to Paula.
We have been so sad about this. Blessings to little Truffle and Mom Paula.
Little Beignet’s passing came as such a shock to us. We’re really sad to that he’s gone to the Bridge.

This is such a great tribute to Beignet and I totally agree that maybe it will open some eyes about all these vaccinations especially for the kitties that stay inside all their lives. We are so very sad for Beignet and for Paula. Thanks Brian for this post.
Oh this is truly awful news! Me and Charlie have been over to mum Paula’s but it’s such a tragedy, poor sweet Beignet! 🙁 Take care

It broke my heart,,just broke it in two.
Oh Brian, thank you for this. When I stopped by there were so few comments when I added mine. I hope more come in and his Mum will get some comfort from the compassion of others.
We went there first thing today, seeing the message in our RSS summary. It is so sad…
Poor little mite….he was too young to go to the bridge. But at least Praline and our other furiends are there for him!
So sorry to hear about your fur baby! We just stopped by to take part in hat day, and saw your post!
Puppy kisses,
Tanner
Oh no…I am so sorry to hear that. 🙁
It was a completely unexpected, terrible outcome. We left our purrs this morning, such a shock to log on and see the news.
We feel sorry for Beignet, Brian
Rest in peace little one.
Lots of purrs from
Pepi and Xixo
Oh My!!!! So sorry!
Beignet was much too young to leave this world. We are so very sad.
So very, very sorry to hear of this. Purr peacefully beyond the Rainbow Bridge, Beignet.
We are sad beyond words too. Alfie has done a special gardening post for Beignet (and Miss Peach) today.
Very sad news! Such a short life, but filled with love.
