Overall we had a pretty darn good weekend here. The weather was so nice, and it was so much cooler than it has been, we got to enjoy whiffies pretty much all day and up until bedtime. I tried making the case for having window whiffies all night, but I didn’t win. You see, there is a family of ferals that live a few houses down and our friends are trying to take care of them. They give them food and water and are trying to make sure they get all fixed up, if you know what I mean. Anyways, the are fond of coming over and having a drink of water out of our bird bath, which is fine, because Dad always makes sure the water is fresh and clean. But one of them is pretty nibby and likes to get pretty close to the bedroom window, which causes us to get a little nutty. So, that ended the night time whiffies, at least for now. Oh well, we are actually sleeping through the night, so I suppose it’s a a good thing.
I hope you all have a wonderful week, and remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
We had to close our windows last night and turn on the AC cause it got to hot.
Mom says her favorite time of year is when having the windows open results in the ideal temperature inside. We aren’t quite there yet, mainly because of all the damp. But we hope SOON! We can still hear cicadas sometimes at night.
Maybe those feral kitties just want to be furiends! Enjoy your window whiffies…we had our windows opened yesterday too!!
We get nutty when one of the ferals Mumsy feeds comes up to the window. It’s kinds fun doing nose bumps with them through the screen though. Still, Mumsy keeps the window low so that’s all that will fit through incase there is an “accident” with the screen like the night when Pungy was a kitten girl and fell out. We glad you got to do whiffies. We hope with it getting cooler we all can get to do more. It looks like you are having a good Monday there, so enjoy Friend Brian!
(((hugs))) to everybody
It sure was gorgeous weather this week end and glad to hear that you got in some good window whiffins. And big thanks to Dad for keeping the bird bath clean for those feral kitties. And sure glad to hear that someone is feeding them. Hope all of you have a fantastic week.
We’re pleased to hear you got lots of window whiffin’ yesterday.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
We live on the 2nd floor, so we don’t have that problem… at least you got to enjoy it during the day (and we are glad the neighbors are caring for the ferals). 🙂
Banjo enjoyed some window whiffing as well yesterday. But it was all the birds that made him nutty! 😉

Hu-mans take all the fun out of it, don’t they? Well, I guess you get rested up at night now so you can enjoy all the daytime whiffies.
Happy Monday, Handsome!
Yep… windows closed is our night policy too. The safest thing…
pawhugs, Max
Well, now it is just wait for the next weekend!
Great week!
xoxo
WE had cooler weather and a breeze one day and then it was back to the hots!
That feral kitty just wants to be a member of the family…
That’s really nice of your dad to make sure the ferals have clean water to drink. 🙂
You also have a good week! Woo Hoo!
We have to have windows shut at night too – so many woodland creatures just freak out Milly and Poppet…oh and me sometimes :)) Sounds like the ferals are getting well looked after, have a great week!
Marc & once fed a feral by our house, and alex got so mad… He ended up running out of the house to chase the cat away…. THankfully he got scared and stopped running. I thought marc & I were going to die. That is how he got grounded for life (I don’t know if you read when I posted that one)
Bonjour Brian
Here in France it is rainy, so no window open here at night!! But we get to roll in the mud during the day!!

Thats too bad ya couldnt have the window whiffies all night long. Sometimes thats the BEST time cuz of things that are only out then. But we certainly unnerstand why. We screech when there are introoders on our deck!
That’s too bad the ferals have ended your nighttime window whiffs for now. It sounds like maybe one of them wants to be an indoor kitty? Or maybe I’m being optimistic… could be he just wants to cause trouble.
Brian
We’ve been so happy the past few days because it has been so wonderful to lay out back on the screen porch and … do nothing. Yesterday I was outside from morning until night then Mom said do you want a treat and I made hay coming in the door so fast…then she closed the door and Daddy didn’t open it back up until the sun came back up the next day, but we are going out right now for some whiffs, this is just too good to stay indoors.

Awww handsome Brian!! It’s so lovely to read that these sweet ferals are being looked after and cared for! Yay!!! Me and Charlie hope you and your adorable sisters Zoe, Sascha, Dolly, Gracie and Precious have a lovely rest now! take care

Sounds like a fun weekend. Pop likes his ac at night. My predecessor almost jumped through the screen to get a stray on the porch when we had The House.
Darcy and Sookie have a few little neighbourhood visitors too who like to come into our garden and say hello when they are in the cat house. It drives them nutty too.. especially when the visitors sample their catnip!! =^..^=
Lookin’ good, Bri my man… Lookin’ good!
I’m glad you had a great weekend! Mr. Rudy was happy to be on our deck this weekend…doing a lot of whiffin’ too. He loves to watch the birds.
So good to know you have a great weather, Have a purrfect day , Brain

Oh well, it sounds like the night whiffies were interrupting your sleep anyways. I’m sure you get all you need during the day.
And it’s so lovely to hear about anothing kind family taking care of feral kitties. I imagine they’re folks after your own heart.
Brian, venho agradecer tua presença no meus anos
sabia que não ias faltar, obrigado amigo
Boa semana e ronrons da

Feral whiffies would keep anyone up. Good that they are being “all fixed up”.
Brian, Mommy is with your ‘rents on this one…until the feral kitties get “fixed” you guys don’t need to be all riled up. Our Outdoor Henry was a PROLIFIC sprayer!
You guys have a wonder-fur week too. Can we have some of your cooler weather???
We are glad you are enjoying your window whiffin’.
You is just protecting your house and oomans from intruders Brian. I do the same thing when another kitty invades my private yard. Not very nice of them. So glad you had a good weekend.
Brian, you are so lucky! The mom says its too hot yet for whiffin. And when she does open the window, its just a little bit cause the kitty next door pushed the screen out of the window and fell and never came home. It was very sad.
Glad to hear you had a good weekend! 🙂
You look pretty thoughtful Brian 🙂 Handsome too!!
We do not have any stray animals at night(that Mom knows about)
so we can have night wiffs.
We hope you get yours back soon. It’s nice that the ferals are getting looked after 🙂

Well Dad knows best!!! Keep those windows shut at night.
We are having very nice whiffies these days! I wonder if that feral kitty wants to make friends with you 🙂
those kitties are probably deliberately doing that to drive all of you crazy!!!!
You’re looking furry comfy there Brian! I’m glad you got lots of whiffies!
Oh those neighbor cats just taunting you! Things will get better and the windows will open up again.
Hi Brian and friends!
Thank you for your kindness in our hardest time.
Kisses
We leave our windows closed at night because we are so big Mama is afraid we will push the screen out. She said birds, squirrels or possums might eat us. Hah!! We thinks she’s got it backwards! 🙂
Sounds like you had a nice weekend, Brian. How nice of your folks and the neighbors to watch out for those ferals, but yeah, we get nutty too when there are introoder kitties close to our house. Have a great week!
Pip, Smidgen, Minnie, Hollie
Ah, the whiffies. It’s still kind of warm here but not quite as humid, so Jan has been opening the door for us. Rusty spends all his time there. He hates it when the door is closed.
Glad it’s getting cooler for you and sleeping is easier. It’s still cool and comfortable for us but it’s forecasted to be a scorcher of a summer.
Cooler is good. Intruder kitties? Well, they can be interesting….but not if they disturb your beauty sleep!
Hmm. Not sure that I’d like to see what these cats would do if there were ferals coming up to the windows! They’re possessive little snots sometimes…
LOL…I bet those feral kitties have heard about what a great home you have. 😀
We hope those kitties get settled in nicely and “fixed up” too 🙂
Glad you’re sleeping better these days 🙂 It’s probably for the best that you don’t have much to do with the feral kitties!
