Purina ProCare™ Products Makes Things Easier

Adopt cats, we deserve it!It’s always fun getting packages delivered to your door, especially when they have your name on them.

Adopt cats, we deserve it!

I got another nice package from my great friends at Purina.  This time it was some of their new Purina ProCare™ products.  In case you didn’t know, Purina has licensed the oneCare Company to launch their ProCare™ products.  We were excited to see this package since we’re big Purina fans here.

Adopt cats, we deserve it!Let me tell you what Purina ProCare™  has to say about the Pet Stain & Odor Eliminator first…because, as they say, “accidents happen”.

“Even the Best Pets Have Accidents.  To help in those instances, oneCARE is also introducing the Purina ProCare™ Pet Stain & Odor Eliminator for carpet and upholstery. The new cleaner features superior pro-enzyme technology, a unique six-enzyme blend designed by experts that breaks down stains and eliminates odors safely and naturally, and is certified by The Carpet & Rug Institute and performance is guaranteed.

The dual action cleaner lifts pet soils from and cleans surface carpet fibers for easy removal while the odor-eliminating technology destroys surface odors on contact. The enzymes and bacteria continue to break down deep-set stains and the source of odors until they’ve been completely eliminated; thorough odor removal discourages pets from remarking. Designed for use on carpet, upholstery, pet beds, litter boxes and any water-safe surface, the Purina ProCare™ Pet Stain & Odor Eliminator is safe for use around children and pets.”

Well now, Sister Zoe just happen to cough up a fur cigar on the living room rug.  Talk about timing being everything.  Dad, after removing the present, grabbed the Pet Stain & Odor Eliminator that was still sitting close by.  Let me tell you, it did a darn good job and we can’t even tell where the boo-boo occurred!  And it was so easy too! With six of us here, I think it’s safe to say that we’ll see that bottle sitting close by!  I can’t even tell where that brown goopy stain was!!!

Now let me tell you what they had to say about their new Purina ProCare™ Ultra Dry Advance Training Pads.

“The new pads are the result of innovative design concepts, from the product itself and even the packaging. They feature exclusive DryStep™ microweave technology designed by experts for superior speed of absorption and ultimate dryness, eliminating unsanitary tracking.

Here’s how it works:·

  • Thousands of one-way microfunnels quickly channel urine into the core, trapping it there and keeping the surface dry·
  • The super-absorbent gel core provides maximum absorbency, keeping puppy’s paws clean·
  • Pads contain a natural puppy attractant as well as a powerful odor neutralizer·
  • A leak-proof backing also protects floors and carpets

The pads are available at pet specialty retail stores in 10-count, 30-count and 50-count quantities and come in an easy-to-store box for convenient dispensing.”

I know, you really want to know if I tried out these pads.  No, I didn’t try them out.  But ya know what?  Even though we’re cats, accidents might happen some time.   Like some kitty might be scared or nervous in the carrier going to the vet and maybe you just couldn’t hold it until you get home.  These would make wonderful liners for the bottom of the carrier and not only would it help keep the kitty dry, it would sure make it easier when you got home too!  At least that’s my take on it!

Thanks Purina for sending these our way.  In the interest of full disclosure, I was not compensated for this review but I did receive sample products to try.

Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

That sure looks like great stuff. We need that Stain and Odor remover. Our very old kitty has taken to peeing on the rug in one spot and Mom has used a couple of sprays and so far they haven’t worked so we are going to sure look for that stuff.
That is a good idea to put the pads in the carrier. Thanks for that great review. Take care. Gonna rain.

We dun use pads, but Mommy spends a lot on carpet cleaners and protectors. This is for our barfing and occasionally knocking over cups and glasses.

Cat urine odor is hard to remove so this sounds promising.

I don’t barf hairballs, but Eric does it every couple of weeks and mum says the stains are hard to get out, so that sounds like a good product. Putting the pads in the PTU is a very good idea.

Thanks for all the valuable information — especially with the Pet Stain Eliminator. It’s hard to find one that actually does a good job.

And yes, the term “fur cigar” is very apt in more ways than one, since the stain is tobacco-coloured!

That Woman is happy to see that other manufacturures are going with the enzyme tech on the spray cleaners. We use Anti Icky Poo but you can only get it online. Works a charm. We’ll be tryin the Purina stuff & see if that works. Be nice to get it local.

Great post pal. Sounds like you got to sample lots of great products. I especially like the idea of a bad in my carrier. I quite often have an accident in there on the way to the vet. M needs to pick up a package of that for me.

You’re right about those liners possibly coming in handy. SOME kitty around here (named Boodie) has a tendency to get a little, uh, antsy in the PTU!

I think EVERY house with a furred one needs to have a bottle of stain and odor remover handy…this sounds like an excellent choice. Accidents DO happen.

As to the pads, yes, we never thought that they might be handy in the travel carrier or in a crate when you have a pup with the sickies.

That Pro-care pet stain stuff is super duper! Mommy bought some just before they brought Cinnamon home. Mommy loves it! Not only does it clean up my furball bomits, but it works on puppy accidents too.
