Hello everyone, tis me, Sister Sascha. Can you believe it, Sister Precious actually talked Brian into letting us have our own time on Saturdays, good for her. Actually, I’m one of the ones who have met Sister Precious, and we seemed to get along just fine. She is just nervous and not used to other kitties being around. I can sort of relate to the being nervous part.
Most of you will remember that when I first came her I isolated myself to the kitchen, under the table, and I was nervous and down right scared of the others. I was pretty much under that table for a little over one year. Oh, for those of you that are new to Brian’s blog, I had a home before, but my human put me in a carrier and left me outside all night at a closed Petsmart store. It was cold that night, and I was scared too. They found me when the store opened, and as luck would have it, Dad and Mom happened to stop for food and the rescue lady said come look. So, that’s how I ended up here.
Anyways, I’m doing fine now and don’t mind at all hanging around with the others. Sister Zoe, yes, the smallest one here, used to chase me to no end. But now I chase her back, or whap her if she gets too out of paw. Heck, I even whap Brian on the butt every once in a while, just because I can. And thank goodness for Sister Gracie, she is actually the one that helped me the most. If someone was going to chase me or try to scare me while I was trying to eat, Sister Gracie would get between us and tell them to go away and let me be. It’s so much better not being afraid. That’s about it from me today, I’ll see you next time!!!
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
We didn’t know the story of your adoption – thanks for sharing! It is so sad to think that some humans have a heart so cold as to leave a poor animal outside in the cold, abandoned and alone. Thank goodness you now live with a loving family!
My dad says he wishes he could adopt all cats in the world that need homes! I think that if there was room here and I didn’t insist on being an only cat he’d have his way.
Hi there Sascha. We are so proud of you for talking to Precious and maybe helping her get used to other cats. We understand about being so scared of other kitties. You gave our Mom hope about Maggie that maybe some day she will not be so scared. Love that picture Sascha, but you know you are our favorite but shhhhhhh don’t tell Brian we said that. Take care.
Sascha, we didn’t know your history. You poor baby! Everybody’s so different, it’s great when the caring for each other helps everybody get along. It’s good you’re helping Precious adjust.
Have a good weekend!
Tom

Sascha – you poor girl… I didn’t know you were left at a pet smart…. The word “human” is too nice for who left you that way…. how cruel…. But, look how lucky you got, with your mom & dad (and feline family). Gracie never told Alex how she protected you… Alex is gushing right now, saying, “that’s my girl!”
Sascha, it is good to hear that you are more confident now and that you can help Precious out too. It is so very good that your Mom and Dad were at Pet Smart that day to give you a new home.
Oh sweet girl, thank you for talking to sister Precious. I was just looking at her on her cam. She’s sitting up and taking notice on her bed.
I enjoyed reading of your adoption and your integration into Brian’s home with his and your sisters. You were such a lucky girl and I’m so glad Brian’s pawrents fell in love with you. Keep telling sister Precious that it’s OK to come out. xxoo
Awww – We has only been following you for about a year so we never knew about your terrible beginning in life. You poor baby. How could anyone possibly abandon a sweet girl like you. Thank C you were rescued by a wonderful family. I’m so happy you have such a wonderful, loving home with a great family – even if the other kitties do like to tease you. SMOOCH
Hi Sascha, I’m new here so didn’t know your story… how anyone could have done that to you I don’t know, but it seems like it may have been a blessing in disguise since you’re now in such a loving home =^..^=
What a cruel start you had in life Sister Sascha – we are so happy you have a loving and happy home now.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Good for you, Sascha! Whap in the butt is good for kitty sisters & brothers!
We had no idea about how you came to live with Brian. That’s an awful thing your previous owners did. Some humans are really really mean. Glad everything turned out well.
PS/ We can see Sister Precious looking out of the window!
Sascha, you told your story very well!
I’m glad all you lady kitties are getting your fair share of blog time!!! It always sounds like there is lots of love at your house!

Thinking of you sitting in a carrier outside overnight in the cold…all alone. That makes me cry. You are such a beautiful girl and we are so happy you are loved now and happy. You will be a great comfort to Precious.
Purrs,
Cory
You’re a survivor, Sascha! And we totally support adoptions too! Many kitties need a Forever Home.
We are sad to think of you crying all night in that carrier outside the Petsmart. Who would do that? But we are glad that you got a good home and place to stay and get comfy. Your lemon turned into some great lemonade didn’t it?
I am glad you and Precious are both safe. I know a little something about being scared. I too was abandoned in a carrier at a pet store ten years ago. I am glad we are both safe!
Your pal, Pip
Hi Sister Sascha! What an awful thing the human of your previous house did to you…but so glad you are now in a loving home with your wonderful family 🙂 I hope Precious will feel more comfortable with other kitties. Have a wonderful weekend!
Awwww beautiful and ever so amazing looking sister Sascha!! Me and Charlie are totally in love with you cos you’re all floofy and orange and rusty and cotton candy coloured and are just soooooooooo pretty!! Awwww we are so happy that you are helping gorgeous sister Precious to feel more comfy! Yay for you! And yay for adorable Sister Gracie too – she’s a very good sisfur for helping you when you were all shy and scared!
Hugs too to your adorable brother Brian and wonderful sisters Dolly and Zoe! Take care

Wow Sasha, I never knew your story of how you came to live with Brian. Your humans sure were mean to you to just leave you in out all night in a carrier. I am so glad Brians folks came by and adopted you.
Purrs,
Genghis
Sascha, you are so beautiful and we love happy endings. The thoughtlessness of humans abandoning cats never ceases to boggle our minds.
Sasha you are very lucky to have found such a loving furever home! I WISH EVERY KITTY DID. I HOPE YOU ALL HAD A FUN MO-CAT DAY!
Glad that you got to steal the blog for today. Hope to see you again real soon. 🙂
Sascha, the night you were left at Petsmart was horrible, but you know what? It was also the best night of your life! Cuz you got a Forever Home, and tons of friends!
We’re so happy you and Precious get along, we bet she enjoys your company–who wouldn’t?
Sascha, you are just proof that kitties settle into their homes in their own time – and that is perfectly fine!
Sascha
Mom and Dad volunteer for a local cat rescue who does adoptions at PetSmart and it is very often that someone will leave kitties outside … the rescue has taken in so many kitties this way. WE do not understand it. In fact Abby’s former “pawrent” wanted this same rescue group to dump her if our Mom didn’t want her — isn’t that awful? Sascha you and Abby are both so lucky!

Sister Sascha, you are a pretty and pretty special ladycat! We’re so happy for you that you have the purrfect home now and that you can paw it forward, so to meow, and help Precious adjust. Have a great Caturday!
Pip, Smidgen, Minnie, Hollie
It’s nice to get to know you & I’m glad you’re doing well with Precious.

Dear Sasha,
How nice to hear from yous girls! Your story is very similar to Kozmo’s! He was just a teeny tinny baby and they left him and his litter mates in a plastic bag hanging from the door of a PetSmart!
Kisses
Nellie
Sascha, your story is purry sad, but at least it has a happy ending! So many beans are thoughtless and uncaring but you have nice ones now. We’re so glad you are starting to feel more comfortable. Kitties can take such a long time cause they remember the bad things for even longer. Its hard work, but keep it up! You can do it! And Brian is one of the nicest kitties we know.
Sascha, you know we have such a soft spot for you and it breaks my heart that anyone could ever be cruel to you.
I’m so very glad you now have the most perfect forever home.
Hello, Beautiful!!!! We remember you whether you were a hidey kitty. Look forward to meeting Sister Precious.
Oh Sascha! How could some human do that to you??!? Thank goodness your mom and dad needed food…and rescued you!! We hope Precious becomes more comfortable with all of you soon.
Sister Sascha! We cannot imagine those horrible people leaving you out in the cold and all night, in a carrier! At a closed Petsmart! We hope they feel so ashamed. We so glad you gots a happy forever home now. Our Miss Duchess is still not real keen on the other kitties. But we all get alone and wuz each other. We are so glad you girls are getting your spot on Brian’s blog. We like getting to know you better too.
=^~^=
(((hugs)))
Sister Sascha, you sure look comfy and relaxed today! Smart way to spend Saturday 🙂 You’ve got the right idea, making sure you don’t get pushed around. All I can say is, boy am I glad Dad and Mom were there that day at the store. Bet they are, too, now that they know you!
Thank you so much for sharing your story with us. You have such a wonder-fur home now. :o)
You are such a good and pretty girl. You will be Precious’s helper one day like Gracie was yours. Purrs.
We didn’t know this story Sascha! Thanks for sharing! You are gorgeous by the way….
You are so beautiful Sascha, and we don’t know how anyone could just dump you. It turned out lucky for you though because you have a wonderful forever home. You are very good to be friendly with Sister Precious.
Wow, we didn’t know your story. We can’t believe someone would just abandon such a sweet beauty like you but we are so happy you ended up at Brian’s house because they are just the best and they love kitties so much. We are very glad that over time you adjusted so well and are now at home.
