I just haven’t been able to get in much bench time lately, mostly because on of my sisters seems to occupy the prime spots. That’s okay though. But when I walked by and saw an empty spot, I just couldn’t resist.
Sister Sascha and I were talking about how fortunate we are to have such a wonderful forever home. We know that there are so many that are not so fortunate. That brings me to the T.G.I.F. for today…The Gift Is Forever!
Next week (September 17th through September 25th) is the PetFinder.com Adopt a Less Adoptable Pet Week. Check out their site and sometime during the week post about a less adoptable pet in your area. Remember T.G.I.F., The Gift Is Forever. Take a little time and help some special critter find their gift, it will truly make your heart smile!
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Oh Brian, thanks for the reminder. We sure will post about some poor animals that are in great need of a home. We love that graphic. You and Sascha look good having that discussion. We feel very lucky too to have a good home. Wishing you a really good day.
That’s a great thing, Brian! It makes us sad to know some humans don’t think adoption is forever…that animals are dispensible. We are not!!!
Enjoy your bench time!!
Island cats says it best… I ditto their comment! You guys are so lucky to have found such a wonderful home. It breaks my heart to know so many animals are out there that aren’t as lucky as you guys and Alex.
We are so sorry that some cats don’t get adopted because they are “different” because they still need lots of love and a furever home.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
You and Sascha look so comfortable and mama looked at sweet BG again and we wish so much that she could please have a loving home. xxoo
We’e glad you finally got to enjoy your “spot”.
This is a great idea. We look forward to reading the stories people post! xx
Brian, I always love the way you find such good variations on TGIF. We hope hard and purr hard for all the kitties who do need a FOREVER home.
Brian ~ we so agree with you. Pets are forever. And less adoptable pets should have a chance to live the good life too ~ it just takes a special hooman to realsie it.
You kitties do seem to have a pretty sweet deal there and a sweet bench!
Happy weekend to you all!
xo Catherine
You’ll see my picture and also have a gift for you on the blog: presenteslovega-2 baby kisses
Good weekend

Glad you finally got some time on the bench, Brian! What a great idea to blog about animals who need forever homes. 🙂
That is such a good idea for an event — kudos to Petfinder! I already did my part because I have TWO black kitties here. It’s a shame that black cats are considered less desirable just because of the color of their fur.
Thanks for the reminder Brian, we will post the graphic on our sidebar!
Well Brian ….
very important post today
We know alllllll cats deserve the best 😉
Lots of love
and many hugs

Have a wonderful nap on your bench. I’m on my way over to petfinders. Thanks for the suggestion.
pawhugs, Max
You guys look like you have a lovely bench. Do you think I was a less adoptable pet? I was adopted when I was three years old after having been a breeder queen…
yall look very comfy. none of us is less adoptable but wes all frum tha streets. Piper is closest since she has FIV but she was diagnosed years after being here. But being different wouldnt discourage our beans from a pet.
My kitties are purebreds and I wouldn’t trade them for the world, but in the past few years I think I’ve become more educated and I know that next time round I’m going to home a rescue cat – they have so much to offer and it’s so sad that often they had a good home and then it was taken away. =^..^=
It breaks my heart! puppies, kittens, dogs, cats, they don’t ask for much but give so much in return. Both my cats are rescue cats. Marshmellow was dumped in a park and Peanut came from the local shelter and the details of his rescue were private.
I feel very sorry for the ones in the pet store too. What happens to them is they aren’t bought. They all need forever homes.
Thanks for the reminder, I’m having my mom person write in in her organizing book. (Between you & me the book doesn’t help her much, BOL)

We are going to have to browse PetFinder to find a pet to post about, but that’s always dangerous with our Mom – that’s how she ended up with Bella!
Gorgeous Sister Sascha and adorable Brother Brian! You two look so wonderful together sharing the bench! Yay!!! Me and Charlie hope and pray that next week’s adoption drive will be a huge success!! Yay!
Hugs too to sweet Zoe, Precious, Dolly and Precious! Take care
x
p.s. I meant to add lovely Gracie!! LOL! x
It’s a sad world we live in right now – so many humans going hungry and losing their homes, and so many dear anipals needing a forever home too. Wish we could help them all.
We love the less adoptable week! Over the years we’ve had lots of those kinds of kitties. Old ones, feral ones, torchered ones. Its amazing their capacity for love, even when they have suffered cause of people.
Glad you got a spot Brian 🙂 Pretty nice one too !
It is always good to remind people that animals with some issues
can still be wonderful, loving pets 🙂
Have a pawsome weekend!!
Purrs Tillie and Georgia
So many animals need good homes. You do SO much to help them! As do many other bloggers.
My daughter Jen and I hope you have a great weekend, Sascha and Brian…and much success with the adoption drive!
Brian, you look very cozy with Sasha!
Mom says all 5 of us were considered less that ideal and all of us were ‘throwaways’ It hurts Mom’s heart to think that all of us might not have been here had things been a bit different. WE know that all furries are beautiful and all can be happy loving and make great companions.

Hi friends! Have a great weekend!!!
Kisses from Brazil
Have a wonder-fur weekend. We hope that lots of animals find their 4-ever home soon.
You two look so sweet sharing the bench. We wish we had room for another wonderful cat to share our home with. We love giving forever homes when we can. You all are doing such wonderful work in helping find forever homes. Bless you! Have a great weekend. Hugs and nose kisses
Aw, you sweeties look verreh friendly up there together 😉
Thanks for reminding me about this, Brian!
The Gift is Forever – that is lovely Brian! Thanks for the reminder….
Thanks for the heads up re: the adopt a less-adoptable pet week coming up. We’ll see if the mom can get her act together and post something. She did last year, but she’s definitely more scattered this year. LOL.
And thanks to all for joining us at our House Trashing party–you should have seen the mom’s face when she got home last night. Heh heh.
we are definitely going to be purrticipating in this most important cause!
