Brian's Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!Brian's Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!Hello happy bloggers, it’s me the Dolly and it’s my turn to do the Sister Saturday post.  I’m very happy to be able to do this too, but I’m a very happy girl.  I wasn’t always this happy though, and that is probably an understatement.  But now I am just so happy, and will smile, head-butt, and purr just about any old time.  It’s wonderful to be here!!!

Brian, of course as he always does, reminded me too that now everyone knows how all of us came to be here at Brian’s Home.  My story is a long one, but I was found via long distance, sort of, on Twitter.  Yes, seriously, and Brian calls me a social media rescue.

Would you do me a favor?  Go HERE to ready my full story.  I’ll wait right here for you to come back.

Welcome back, I told you it was a bit long.  The nice Vet that helped me so much is the one that was recently mentioned in the story about sweet Cobbie.  Jenna is also the one that helped so much with Selina (formerly Faith, who has her own blog now), Marg’s Little Bit, and Sister Precious too.  I really hope my story helps remind everyone that blogging, tweeting and facebooking about pets in need really can work.

Anyways, at the end of October I will celebrate 2 years of being here in my forever home and I just totally love being here.   Brian assigned me the job of Blogging Assistant.  That means it’s my job to sit on Dad’s lap while Dad is doing the typing and Brian is doing the dictating.  I love this job and I’m never, ever late for work.  As soon as Dad sits down at the typing spot I’m right there on duty!

One of my other favorite things is snuggling and I would love to snuggle up with my sibs, but mostly they get up and move when I snuggle up against them, except sometimes for Sister Gracie, she cooperates every once in a while.  But Dad always cooperates and I often snuggle up against his leg wherever he happens to be sitting.  I must say that I do love window whiffies too, there is so much to watch here, and it’s so much better being inside and safe.

I hope you enjoyed my post today and I’m already looking forward to my next turn.  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Dolly, thank you for the reminder that it is always worth posting about an animal in need of a home. We are sorry you had such rough times. Mom is especially dismayed that you could have been in foster care in two such bad situations. She doesn’t get that people would foster animlas if they were not going to do a good job.

Oh Dolly thank goodness for techno savvy Brian – this is such a positive story on the power of social networking, I will make sure to make use it more often to share stories on cats in need.
P.s. you are GORGEOUS, your lovely long fur and different colours are out of this world =^..^=

Thank goodness for technology and that it reached you. How could that non person throw you out to fend for yourself makes mum’s blood run cold. I am glad you got to have Brian’s home as your forever home because you got a good one. Hugs GJ xx

What a story! You sure had a rough start in life with many bumps in the road. The best part of this story is it has a happy ending. I wish all homeless, mistreated dumped cats could have loving homes like yours.

Sweet Dolly, you were very, very lucky, but of course, you already know that. It’s so sad that for many homeless animals, there isn’t the happy ending you had. Your story surprised me in that we always think fosters are as close to a forever home as one can get, but could very well be a horrible situation, too. I never realized that.

I’m glad you have a home of forever purrs with good folks like Brian, Mom, Dad and your other sisfurs!

We all love to snuggle here. Especially when it is cold. Arty is the only one that will snuggle with Fenris though, she is weird that way.

Dolly, we didn’t know what a horrible start you had in life! We just knew how beautiful you are. Thank goodness Brian is as nice as he is! We read your whole story, and got a little laugh at the photo of you under the story “Terry, You Rock the House Down”. You are on a bed and in the background is a tabby pillow. Our Mom has a pillow like that and when Mica Moo came to live with us, Mica kept hissing at it every time she saw it. So the Mom had to hide it! We are… Read more »
