It might be a bit early, but I was doing a quick survey of some things around the house. Why? Hey, Christmas will be here before you know it. So okay, are you listening Dad? Dad, I said are you listening? Our cat tree is really starting to look a bit ratty. Now I like rats as good as the next cat, but a ratty looking cat tree just isn’t fitting for us felines of class. Look how it’s all torn up and shredded, especially on the scratchy posts. I know, I had a part in that, but I think that a new cat tree should definitely be on the Christmas list. Look at the bed up top, it’s even coming apart.
Hey, now that I think of it, I wonder why my Christmas tree isn’t up yet? No, I don’t think I’m rushing the season. We just love our Christmas tree and I think we should leave it up all year round!
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Brain, No too early for the List !
Because you can add up more and more, By the time Christmas, You will get lots of lots of presents : )
and Thanks to post this, I will start to make my mom a big list from now !
Early is better..heh..heh..heh
Good to get your requests in early so they can start saving up the green papers!
Oh Brian, don’t get me started. Driving home from work yesterday I saw a house lit up for christmas… Come on? Can we please have halloween first?
I hope u get everything on your Christmas list Brian – you deserve it.
It’s almost time for the Christmas tree – hooray!
You are my kind of cat! Nope, never too early to start thinking about putting up the Christmas tree. Hopefully a new cat tree will fit under the Christmas tree. Or perhaps you have all been so good, you won’t have to wait that long! 🙂
xo Catherine
We’d love to have our Christmas tree up all year too, Brian. But mom says if she did that, she knows the tree wouldn’t stay “up” with the 3 of us around!!
Christmas??? You mean I get more stuff for Christmas! I think I’ll start looking around immediately!
Truffle
Never too early for the Christmas Tree…. although, I’m gonna have to confer with HH. I’m not sure about a tree this year. It’ll be the first Christmas for the boys and you know how much trouble them get in up high without a tree to tempt them. We’ll just have to see about that. Anyway, hope your dad put’s up the tree today.
pawhugs, Max
Oh Brian, what a good idea to get the season going. Let’s just skip Halloween and Thanksgiving. We get after our assistant to get started on our tree too. Wonder what Santa is going to bring us. Now we are excited.
Take care.
Oh man I agree with you – I wish we could leave our Christmas tree up all year round too.
Purrs,
Genghis
Awwww lovely and most adorable Brian! You are doing ever so well reminding dad what needs to be done before christmas! Me and Charlie think getting a good christmas tree is a must! Yay!!!
Hugs too to sweet Precious, Dolly, Sascha, Zoe and Gracie! Take care
x
That’s what we like to hear Brian – you do ordering things to be done so well!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
We’ll have to think what WE want for Christmas, besides endless kibble, of course. 🙂
The mom doesn’t want us to mention that holiday until after Halloween at the very earliest, preferably not until December. LOL.
Mom says you deserve a new cat tree, but it might be a little early to pu up the christmas tree…..
We love the way mr Puddy always calls you “brain”! Tee hee. And we agree, it’s never too early for a Christmas list!
You had better remind dad every day about the cat tree and how bad it’s starting to get. Santa should really bring you a new one, and he needs time to shop for it.
Christmas…??? Didn’t wee jus’ have da 4th of July???
We hope you get what you wish for, Brian! We will have to bug our pawrents to put up the christmas tree this year. Would you believe they didn’t bother to put it up last year?!
Love, Cosmo and Ling
Ha ha…….Mommies cousin wanted to build a rotating base to put his tree on and after Christmas he could turn the base to go into a closet till the next year….Mom thought that was cool except she has different themes for our tree. We will see what Thomas thinks this Christmas!!!=^Y^=
It won’t be long till Christmas. We hope all your Christmas wishes come true.
A new cat tree would be wonderful. How many Christmas ornaments do you swat off the tree every year? 🙂
It is never to early for the ‘list’! Mom has already been shopping! Something about spreading out the spending?
A new tree for sure but mum says it is coming up way too fast to Christmas.. Hugs GJ x
Not long now Brian, it’ll be Christmas before you know it!!
Sookie and Darcy would also love to have the christmas tree up now… they bat the baubles then pretend to lick their paws when I tell them off!
Sounds like a good Christmas gift to us! Ours is a little frayed too, will be interesting to see what we get!
Your cat tree looks very well loved. It’s never too early to make sure necessities like a new cat tree are on the Christmas list. We agree that Christmas trees (or at least a real tree covered with toys) should be left up year round. Excellent idea!
Brian
Kissing now means yous can get more things on it before Santa Claws comes.
Kisses
Nellie
Yeah, we need a new cat tree too! My human said that as soon as my second book goes into royalties, I can have one… but if you have ever looked at a book contract, you know it will be a good, long while before that happens.
The Official Feline Rule Book says you can put up a Christmas tree the day after Halloween. Re: a new cat tree. What you get depends on whether you’ve been naughty or nice 😉
I’m with you Brian, skip Halloween head straight for Thanksgiving and put up the tree!
Brian, we (especially Sammy) are with you! We think the Christmas tree should be up 24/7/365! 🙂
Brian
It’s never too early to start on your Christmas list!

Planning ahead is a very useful skill. Get that list started and let the folks know what they need to begin budgeting for…and we agree, shabby chic is NOT for the manor born!
Haha what a cute post! I think my kitties will be getting their list organised shortly too :o)
Sarah =^..^=
My cats just got their climbing tree last Christmas and it’s looking a bit rough also. I don’t think Santa has one on his list this year, but ya never know! *wink*
We totally agree Brian !!!
It’s never too early to think about Christmas 😉 heehee
We hope Santa Claws is listening 😉
Purrs Tillie and Georgia,
Tiger,Treasure and JJ
Brian, maybe your dad will put up the Christmous tree and you kitties can climb it! Then he’ll get the hint 😉 You definitely need a new scratchy tree – plus your dad could fix up the one you have with a bit of sissal rope…a cat can’t have too many scratchy trees!
Pip, Smidgen, Minnie, HOllie
We love our old scratching post! It was a lot of work to get it just right. We think you should keep the old one and add a new one. The old one is like an old friend – loved and comfy to be with.
You do deserve nice things.
Kat
we love christmas tree also
and cant wait to see yours 🙂
Oh, my furiend, you just gave me even MORE to ponder as I chillax on my tower–Krissymouse!
You definitely need a new cat tree. Better sit down and write your letter to Sandy Paws.
Well, it must be close ta chrissymouse. The decorations are up at Walmart…
We agree yer cat tree is lookin a big beat. But mebbe Dad could take that carpet off the poles an glue/wind sisal rope around them. An upgrade is almos good as a new one.
that’s right Brian, get started now and ramp up that list!
I sure hope daddy is listening, in case a kitty gets bored with nothing good to scratch & start on the comfy looking chair you are walking on! I agree about a Christmas tree, I have mine up all year! just switch out ornaments for different months!
OMGoodness, Brian! Have you been to Walgreens and gotten into the Christmas spirit early? (I hope you get a new cat tree for Christmas.)
I can’t think about Christmas yet! 😛
