Brian's Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!Brian's Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!Hey, what’s up with the dark?  It gets dark at 5:30 here in the south, that’s just not right.  It’s totally messed up our evening Bird-TV!  No squirrels out, no chipmunks about, zero, zip, zilch, nada.  Sure, it’s been warm enough for us to have a little evening window whiffs, but I’m beginning to think that someone ran off with our backyard critters.  Maybe I need to see if I can track down our Neighborhood Watch group, maybe they know where they are.  Hmmmmmmm, what if they are gone too?  Now that I think about it, things haven’t been quite the same since one of those little space creatures showed up on Halloween.  And there have been some strange things going bump in the night too.  Dad says it’s my imagination, but I hear them, I really do.  I know what I’ll do, I’ll just do an internet search and see if I can find out what’s going on.

Anyways, while I’m trying to solve this mystery, remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Brian, that is such a good picture of you. We miss the bird and squirrel TV too. You just have to get really early in the morning to see them now. It is hard to get used to the new time. Mom has to go out with a flashlight at night to check on the kitties outside. Hope all of you have a great day.

Alex is liking the time change… It is easier to get our lazy butts up in the AM when it is a little lighter out… But, I don’t like it at all! I hate leaving work in the dark -when it is still early!

We don’t like how it gets dark so early too, Brian!!

We’re not fond of the early dark, either, but in about a month and a half the daylight will start to get longer again. So take heart! 🙂

However, the time change somehow makes this week feel really LONG for the mom, like an extra day has been added to her work week. Ugh.

We do not like the time change. It is dark when our Daddy gets home from work and it takes forever for us to get our foods we keep hearing that the clock says it isn’t time to eat yet. We don’t care what time the clock says it is our stomachs say it is supper time.

Our time has changed in the UK too and we hate it – we can’t have the same fun after dinner and we stay inside more cos it’s colder too. We have movement lights outside but if you move out of their range for a few moments they go to sleep and leave you in the dark which is no good for leaf hunting and pouncing.
Roll on Spring time.

Yes, it sure cuts into my time outdoors here too, Brian. Soon it’ll be dark at 4:30 and not light before 8 something am. Yuck. But I could send some birds your way–those pesky crows can be mighty scoldy……

Gosh that really is a mystery – I still have lots of critters running around my yard and it’s pretty cold out this way for being outside.
Hope you get it all figured out.

Our windows are now officially closed until spring per mom. However we heard some strange noises last night….mom said it was just leaves blowing down the driveway… we aren’t so sure….

SCREEEE! You look adorable, Brian! The birds here flew south a long time ago so they should’ve arrived at your place by now. TW sees a lot of squirrels so they didn’t go south. The time change messed my routine up too.

Oh Brian, that photo makes my heart go flutter!
Me has not worried about the time change as wes gets fed at the same time. Me don’t care what time the peoples has! Mommy says it disrupts her routine to feeds us a hour earlier, but she will get used to it!

You have a very long day. It is full dark here by 4:50 or so and will be completely dark by 4:30 when it gets to the shortest day of the year! We don’t even think we are that much farther north but we get a lot more clouds than you do!

Whisppy

Eeek. We hope are able to find out where all the little critters have gone. Did you check in your basement?

Laura C aka Kitcaboodles

Sookie and Darcy have been very annoyed at me each morning since it started staying darker longer, I’m leaving for work in the dark and returning after dark too… I’m sure they think i’m staying out for much longer!

The time is all messed up here too! We are not happy about it, and Binga thinks she is starving to death every night!

I do like that photo of you a lot too, Mr. Brian! We sure have even more critters in our yard than usual during the day – we found a whole flock of tiny birdies and there are lots of skwirls and they aren’t even scaredy of us hardly, and every morning there is a fluffy gray kittycat sitting in the vejetashun in OUR yard (she always runs away from us though)! Our answer to the early darks is just to nap some more, but we are sure ready for night-night a lot earlier!

It is getting dark way too early! It makes my mom just want to sleep which means less play for me! Except for lazy tag (laser tag) – which is my favorite anyway!

It’s so depressing when it gets so dark so early. But look at the big eyes you have! You must be seeing something! 😉

While you’re searching, could you find us a number for someone who delivers roast chicken in return for furry purry headbutts? We’re HUNGRY!

Now that you mentioned it Brian, I’ve noticed all that too. I guess it’s like Marg said, you have to get earlier in the morning to catch the bird TV. Mom likes it better with the sun coming up earlier, she doesn’t like to sleep till eight.

yow! we knew it! It’s a conspiracy! First our time is all whacked out and our meals are late, and our daylight is stolen too! Let us know when you figure things out, Brian.

It makes me sad to that is gets dark so early. That means no frisbee at night because it is too dark.
