What Is Your Pet Thankful For This Thanksgiving? Purina Will Donate $1, up to $50,000 to Find Out

Brian's Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!Brian's Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!Hey gang, we’re always looking for an easy way to help one more critter, and the easier the better.  My friends at Purina contacted me just a bit ago to update me on their latest project.  It’s called, you guessed it, “What Is Your Pet Thankful For This Thanksgiving”

Starting on Thanksgiving Day, all you have to do is visit the Petcentric by Purina Facebook page and share what your pet is thankful for this year. Purina will donate $1, up to $50,000, to Adopt-A-Pet.com for every “like” the page receives. The promotion will run through November 27th.

“Pet lovers show their appreciation for their pets every day, and on this special day of thanks we’d like to know what they think their pets are thankful for,” said Danielle Behan, Senior Brand Manager, Purina Brand.  “This is a fun way to engage pet lovers and to support a great organization, Adopt-a-Pet.com, in its mission of finding forever homes for pets.”

The program will be highlighted during the National Dog Show Presented by Puring, which is scheduled to air at noon (local time in all time zones) on Thanksgiving Day, November 24th, on NBC, following the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.  Actor and National Dog Show co-host John O’Hurley will appear in a video during the telecast that features his four-legged friend Tater Tot and explores what the pup is thankful for at Thanksgiving.

If you are on Facebook, drop by Thanksgiving Day or until November 27th, Like them and tell them what you are thankful for.  Easy.  Do it!

Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

What a great idea! We might need a reminder though ’cause we’re rather forgetful lately. Could you re-post the link on your Thanksgiving Day please?

We appreciate your kind words of comfort and support for my brother, Quinn. Please continue to keep him in your thoughts, the positive energy most certainly helps.

We lubbed reading about your brother Ivan–we are sure he is smiling down on you all the time, Brian. But say–how come your people got you all those GIRLCATS now? Maybe you needs another brother? Ha ha ha!

Gosh, now my Human’s a little sorry she deleted her Facebook page–maybe she can use someone else’s!
