Christmas is coming and will soon be here, and we’re all anxious to see what the big man in red will bring us. Whatever gifts may come our way we will all be very thankful. But we already have the best gift of all, a loving home and friends the world over. We had a great big sad this week with the passing of our dear friend
Admiral Hestorb. We’ve lost lots of friends and many are not well. So my Christmas wish this year is to have each and every one of you give your critters a great big hug and kiss and let them know how much you love them. Let’s purr and pray for those who are ill and try to comfort those suffering from such horrific loss. I think today I will just leave it at that.
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

What IS it about this time of year that makes us seek the Bridge?
Yup it has been a sad week, that is for sure. We are so sad about Admiral and so feel for Carole. Our Mom has been hugging all of us like crazy and she tells us every day how grateful she is that we live here with her. What a great post. It all does make you stop and think about the things we are grateful for. Remember all of you, you have to let us know when the Big guy in red is on his way to our house.
Gracie that is a beautiful post, the sentiments perfect for this time of year. It is indeed a sad time too, losing so many beautiful friends and knowing others are unwell. We will instruct our apes to be more grateful for us and all the animals in the world, especially those who need help.

Gracie, you are right, it has been a bad year for two and four legged friends alike….
We too have the sads for Carole and Sweet Admiral.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Yup, it really is all about the LOVE, not the STUFF, though we do have fun seeing other kitties packing or getting presents. Along with you we wish for relief from sadness and sickness for our friends, their humans and for others everywhere.
Yeah, every since Mommie read about Admiral, when she sees me she picks me up and squeezes. I would tell her to stop already with mushy stuff, but I understand where its coming from.
Hi friends, today I´m sad about Admiral.
Kisses
Auntie Marilia
Brian, now all Mommy wants to do is leave work and come home to love on us!
I, too, have been reading of several losses recently–our hearts go out to their families. Sage and Toby are getting extra lovin’ right now!
I am purring verreh hard for the Admiral’s Mommy, that she is comforted by efurryone through this sad time. I will also purr for all the kittehs and Humans who need it XOXO
It’s a time to count our blessings and enjoy what we do have. Purrs …
It has been a really difficult few weeks for many of our friends…we will keep our friends in our prayers.
It’s been a heartbreaking few weeks, but also ones filled with hope as pet bloggers come together to help others in need.
Your pal, Pip
Brian venho desejar a ti e tuas irmãs e pais um Feliz Natal e que a nossa amizade para o ano continue com tanto carinho e amizade como até hoje

This has not been a good week, that’s fur sure. I am so sad about Admiral and worried about the sick kitties. But I tell my three every day, at least once and usually MANY times more, how much I love them and am thankful for their loving presence. I feel so lucky that they are healthy, happy and safe, and I never take that for granted.
That is a really cute photo of you!
Brian
This is exactly the way we feel this year.
Purrs to all of you

Gracie, you look like you are praying and it’s nice to see you are always thinking of others.
Gracie, that’s a good wish…we love getting hugs and kisses from our mom and dad-guy.
We love Christmas! Mama for some reason seems to know what Santa is bringing us and she is so excited for us to see!!!
It has been a hard year on the blogosphere. purrrrrrrrrrrs to all our friends and their families who need it. You’re right, we have the best gifts all year round. Loving warm homes and families and clean food and water every day.
I think this whole year has been a difficult one for a lot of humans and kitties. I am hoping 2012 is a whole lot better.
You stated it so well, we will add our wish too!
As we say here in Oklahoma, ” It’s been a hard row to hoe.” Meaning it has been a tuff week. Many of our furriends do still need our purrs and we are purrin hard fur them. We want all of them to be happy and healthy fur Christmas and beyond. That would really be a great gift. xoxo
Pretty Gracie, we love the way you put your paws together to purray for your friends.
Thanks so much for your kind comments and your friendship over the years. You are the best! We plan on keeping our eyes on you. Much love to your family!
It has been a very sad week here in Blogville. 🙁
Gracie this was a perfect post. When we heard about the Admiral we were heartbroken, we are also so sad that so many kitties have been ill and some horrible things have happened to the woofies too. We haven’t seen a month so bad, we pray that 2012 brings better things to all of us.
