Well, I gave Dad permission to help me, and over time he has lessened the amount of stinky goodness I get for breakfast and dinner. It was a slow process and I’ve actually adapted just fine. I haven’t lost a lot of weight yet, but I have lost some. And boy am I feeling much better. I’m much more active at playtime which helps me even more, and I’m much more social with everyone too. It sure is not the easiest thing to do, but I’m one determined girl, as if you couldn’t tell that already.
I couldn’t do this alone, my brother Brian and my sisters have been cheering me on and have even been willing to chase me so that I can get some more exercise. That is so great that they would do that just for me. Oh, not to worry, I chase them back too for even more exercise. I’ve even climbed up in the cat trees, which is something I’ve never done before. Hey, nobody likes diets, but in my case I do believe it is agreeing with me!
I’ll catch all of you next time. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often!
Oh Gracie, that is terrific that everyone is helping you to lose weight. That is so nice of them to chase you around. Sure glad to hear that you chase them back. Hope all of you have a terrific week end and manage to stay warm.
That’s super news! We’re glad that everybuddy is helping you with your diet!

Oh Gracie – you sound so happy… I am glad you listened to your dad and Brian and are feeling better… You are right, Alex loves you at any size, just like you love him with or without a tail (he actually wrote about YOU today)… but, he (and I ) are so happy that you feel better. that is what matters…
oh, and he says you can chase him any time…
I´m purrying to you to lose weight without suffering!
Kisses Sister Gracie and all furriends!!!!!
We are pleased to hear your family is encouraging you Gracie – you’ll be strutting the cat walk before you know it.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
The siblings may be willing to help by eating your breakfast and dinner, too. Mica Moo wouldn’t mind helping out that way as well.
Well done sister Garcie.
Way to go, Sister Gracie! Glad to hear your siblings are helping out!
Good work Gracie. Spontaneous has been on a diet for several months now with similar results. She is a much happier cat. Now, If I can only follow her example.

Good for your Sister Gracie…..we know you can do it!!
That is such great news! Our Mom has been trying to get Meow-Me to lose some weight by lessening her food (slowly) but there’s still no visible weight loss. So now Mom hopes she’ll lose the fat with the home cooked diet. Good job, Sister Gracie, on your weight loss and more active lifestyle. And such great furblings to help cheer you on. 🙂

Gracie, losing weight isn’t easy for us cats or for humans too! We’re glad you are losing some…and having fun in the process!!
Yay for Gracie, and she sure tells a great story. We love chasing each other here too, and our Buddy gets plenty of exercise—he can jump to almost the top of the door jam –even night when we turn the lights out…LOL
3 cheers for Gracie! Woot woot woot!!

Great job, Gracie! We are so proud of you!
That is so awesome that your dad, Brian, and your sisters are so supportive. 🙂
You are looking great Gracie! I almost didn’t recognize you. Kibble is more fattening than stinky goodness cos when you drink water, it swells inside your tummy.
Gracie, you are so pretty and totally huggable!
It is great to hear you haf a pawsome support system in place! Makes a huge difference in anything we do. Thanks fur stopping by our blog and leaving purrs and kind words fur us. xoxo
Way to go Gracie! We say anything that makes for more fun is worth it!
Gracie! You look wonderful! If you want to do more running around with your brother and sister ask your human to get you a laser pointer. Peaches, Ginger and Macy (who is a dog) love running around chasing the red dot. 🙂
Keep up the great work. They say it is better to lose it slowly anyway. I am sure you will be back in top shape in no time at all. 🙂
Good job Gracie, I am glad your siblings are helping you.
Keep up the good work, Gracie. Mom Paula is working on losing some of the extra fat, too.
