Here is the urgent message that got passed to me just moments ago. Please distribute to anyone you know in or around Greeenville, SC:
Trying to pull (2) cats from the GCAC Urgent Euthanize list through Kitten Action Team Rescue (they agreed to take them under the rescue) if (only if) I find a foster home(s).
Know of anyone who would foster 2 cats till adoption? They would need to be in the Greenville area because the cats would need to be brought to PetSmart on Saturday and/or Sunday for their adoption day at the Woodruff Rd. location. (or meet me and I’d bring them up there and meet whomever to get them back).
Vetting is taken care of through the rescue and I’ll pay for food/litter/treats. You all know me and I would bring them to my house, however, with 5 cats of my own and a dog in our small townhome, yikes! I just couldn’t do 7 cats (even temporary) – I trip over my 5 every morning!?
The (2) cats are: Andy, 2 yrs., 10-12 lbs. (hit by a car and survived. He was fostered/vetted and now is on “the list) and Chelopatra, 1 yr., 8 lbs. (shy, was from the Darlington County Humane Society and transferred to Greenville because she was there for 1 yr. w/ no interest). I do have their pics on my home e-mail which I’ll provide tomorrow. They had such a rough life, I thought I’d select those 2 (I know, there are 53 cats on “the list” this week and it was hard not to select them all).

We beg the Universe to grant these two kitties a second chance and a forever home that is safe, loving, and nurturing. Our Quinn was on one of those lists so we are wooing extra hard.
Oh, we hope someone comes through for them, poor things! How cruel those lists are. And there’s 51 more on it, how awful!

This is breaking me and Charlie’s hearts! How could these 2 adorable innocent kitties be down to be killed after what they’ve been through? We hope some kind soul(s) take pity on them soon. Please! Paws and fingers crossed!

We know what you mean. Sometimes we just have to set limits, no matter how hard it is. We hope someone will foster those kitties.
That is heartbreaking to think of all the kitties on the lists. We hope someone can foster them.
