First let me say thank you to all of you that stopped by to help me celebrate our 1000th post and I appreciate all of the kind comments as well. I have some of the best friends in the world!
I had a total of 93 comments and at fifty cents each that comes to $46.50 but we are rounding it up to a total of $50.00 which seems like a better number to me. Out of the 93 comments, 62 asked or gave a very strong hint that they wanted to be entered in the contest (the only rule). We then made a list of those entering the contest and used Random.org to determine the winner.

Let’s hear a big hooray for Kea, Nicki and Derry! I will be making a donation of $50 in the names of Nicki, Derry, Angel Annie and Angel Chumley to their selected animal charity which is Forever Home Cat Rescue. AND my friends at PurinaOne (thanks J.P.) kindly offered to match my donation, so the will receive a total of $100.00.
