Today is another special day at our home, it’s the Gotcha Day for Sisters Gracie and Zoe and I want to say Happy Gotcha Day girls. All of our lives are so much better because both of you are here. Here is one of the earlier pictures of Sister Gracie.
And here is one of the earlier pictures of Sister Zoe.
Most of you will remember their Gotcha stories, but for the benefit of new readers I’ll give the short version. Sister Sascha and I decided it was time to expand the family and Mom had spotted Sister Gracie at the Kitten Action Team location in our local PetSmart. Dad was dispatched to fetch Sister Gracie, who at the time was called Smokey, and was to bring her home with a friend. Dad spotted Sister Zoe peeking out from under a rolling bin and fell in love with that fuzzy face.
So, on this lucky Gotcha Day I was fortunate to get two new sisters…
Nobody was able to tell us anything about Sister Zoe other than she just showed up one day and someone rescued her and took her to Kitten Action Team. Sister Gracie was a young kitten and was being attached by a doggie when she was saved. Sister Gracie had to have surgery to repair the damage so she can’t jump high but otherwise she gets along just fine.
I love you girls, just keep being you!
