Please Help with my Greenville Ferals project.
Those looking for their Forever Homes can now be found HERE
Maybe I’m pondering too much, but I don’t mind telling you I’m a wee bit worried. You see, a couple of weeks ago I was stuffed in the PTU and had to endure one of those awful rides to the VetHuman’s place. Let me tell you that I complained all the way too. Actually I didn’t even have to see the VetHuman, I was taken in the back where they stole some of my blood for what they called a Wellness profile. So we weren’t there long at all and then I had another horrible ride in the metal box on wheels.
When the VetHuman called my Dad she said that my live enzymes were elevated and that I needed to be rechecked in 30 to 45 days. Well, my appointment is coming up on March 7th and I’m already getting worried about it. So please send any extra purrs my way. Other than the liver enzymes everything else was great. Oh, and there was another bit of good news…Dad said I have to fast the night before and the morning of the new blood test. Hey, I’m very good at being fast so that shouldn’t be a problem. I can run fast, eat fast, whap fast and hide fast! What Dad? What do you mean it’s not that kind of fast? Oh no, I’m worried again. Maybe I’ll just take a nap.
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Brian, we’re sending loud purrs that your liver enzyme level will be within normal range. Nicki’s ALT level was elevated last October when he went in for a check, but because he’s been eating normally, playing as usual, and doing his business normally, I’ve not taken him back in. He’ll go in another month or two for a general check and I’ll have it done then. I did read that there are non-threatening reasons for it to be high (in Nicki’s case it was just slightly above the normal high), so fingers and paws crossed yours will be fine.
Brian, we are purring very hard that the new tests are good.
Mickey started out with higher enzyme levels. It was a few years before
he got sick and went to the Bridge.
Purring for it to be nothing serious!!

We will get the donkeys to cross their hooves for you too on the day of your appointment. Hope you can have a good week and not worry too much.
Oh Brian….extra purrs are sent to you. Chins Up!
Brian fella, we hope your levels are allllllll back to normal by the time of your next test. Sometimes we get raised enzyme levels just because we do and it’s nothing to worry about. The “fast” is more worrying, did your Dad tell you what it means? We think you should go and ask him for an explanation. We are sending you lots of rumbly purrs and hope you are ok
